You play RE once. 10 hours. Thats ok thats good nothing special. Then its over in my opinion 100% over. You wanna buy that? I mean sure some wanna support the developers I understand. For the game itself I wouldnt do it.

It's not a 2 hour long game bro. You think Capcom released a 2h long game and people are happily buying it for full price and proclaiming it as one of the best SP games we've seen in recent years?
It can be completed in 2 hours. Once you master it, or if you play in lower difficulty.
This is how my first play-though of half of the game (Leon) looked like:
That's 9 hours. Without counting all the reloads I had to do.
And I'm a veteran of the original.

Personally, I can count the games I replayed on the fingers on my both hand - Gothic 1 and 2, Freelancer, Silent Hill 2, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, Devil May Cry 3 and perhaps Lord of the Rings Online. It's a weird bunch of games with almost nothing similar between them, I know.
SH2 is the only one I finished to see all endings even tho the game is completely the same in all playthroughs even on hardest difficulty. DMC3 was really nice on higher difficulties. But I don't think I will ever again play a game for second time just for some different ending, setting or mode. These days I usually watch endings on YouTube.
