They redesign the thing that matters to them, not what bothers the customers the most. The whole social experience on uplay is total crap, the chat itself doesn't even update properly all the time.

That may be but again it proves they do invest in their Uplay platform. Nevertheless they consider selling on Steam to be somehow beneficial for them.

They also sell on Origin. To be honest, I don't really care. Valve is selling only on Steam, but people don't lose their shit over that. I buy games on any platform that's functional, price is what determines my purchase more than anything else. The only one I avoid is Windows Store because of the shit they pulled with online gaming between different digital platforms.

I don't get it either. It isn't like Valve/Steam are pro consumer, they pushed onto people the DRM with the most longevity and nobody is even aware or bothered by that. Law suits were needed for Valve to add a refund system according to European law and after all that they still did it in their favor, the money being refunded is in the form of store credit. So much greatness!

Not now, but I'm pretty sure that's how it worked in the beginning. Anyway, that list of complaints could be way bigger, I just wanted to give a few examples.

So just finished it.
It was an ok game. But nothing on the level of people calling it the best game of 2016 or one of best campaigns ever or even better - the real "half-life 3" Laughing lol wut

It was enjoyable for what it was but its a 6.5/10 game. Which is not a bad thing. Good to play game like that from time to time.
I would put it on the same level as a mix of Call of duty Infinite Warfare (which had good campaign) and Singularity. Although I liked singularity more.
At least it(titanfall2) had few cool gameplay mechanics and moved super fast. Some parts of it felt like training for mp for sure.
Graphics were ok and anti aliasing was excellent. Not sure at what levels dynamic supersampling operated on my gtx 1060 but the game was jaggies free. Very nice iq.

Spoilers about story/ending

Poor Titanfail, it was inevitable. The surprisingly enjoyable campaign of the second one will remain an oasis in the desert, we can already hear the thumping sound of titancrates coming from afar!

how about if ea made battlefield the battle royale game and titanfall can be the flagship shooter with design and direction completely in the hands of respawn

that said i'll probably give it a go if it's real because i like titanfall. just a shame that ea doesn't
