That or I guess Kendo's masculinity works even on those who are a little bit dead-ish.
EDIT: Perhaps intentional, many of the chewing dead in this game are eating the asses of their victims for whatever reason.
- Similar premise to 4th Survivor: you need to escape Raccoon City.
- "What if?" (non-canon) as we know these people did not manage to escape.
- In Kendo's story the purple zombie is poisonous. "An old friend with a helicopter" will save Kendo. Those that know their RE lore will understand who that is Excited!
- In Katherine's story she will battle a special type of mutated zombie that can only go down with special ammunition. She also travels with "a certain someone" whomever that might be.
- In Umbrella's soldier story, it seems he will be fighting armored monsters (maybe his zombified former colleagues?). This is said to be a harder mode than 4th Survivor.
- Training mode (easier) avaliable for these.
- Unlike 4th Survivor and Tofu and even the main game, you can pick up items from backpack wearing zombies you kill, or vending machines. But the items you choose to pick from the vending machines lock you out of those you didn't pick, so there's a bit of an rpg element there.
- Do challenges and unlock cosmetics to customize your character.
- Also-free classic low poly Leon and Claire DLC comes out the same day.

Barry is the gun-dude of S.T.A.R.S. carrying his "canon" of a revolver, and in original RE2 when you examined his desk it said it belonged to gun enthusiast Barry Burton. Any idea how to set monitor priority? I've ran the game with 2 monitors and now that only one is connected, it seems to want to launch on other one... The screen is black but I can hear the main menu. Cannot alt tab or alt enter. Only hard shut down

Delete the settings file so that it will re-detect your monitors??

Improvements are being made by I doubt it can be perfected, but we'll see.
When can we expect the DLC? At 00:00 (or was it 01:00?) like what they did for the main game or nah? Any experience with the release of past DLCs from Capcom etc?

I'm very excited for this, it's probably going to be only a beginning and ending cutscene for each of the characters since it's free, but maybe they can put some files in the campaigns to expand a bit on the lore. Even if the scenarios themselves are not canon, the background info can be.
It's surreal how the PR team and the press keep referring to Katherine as the mayor's daughter when this is never said in the game itself, and you have to have played the original to know who she is. It's like they have admitted "it goes without saying we expect you have played the original and recently at that". So bizarre how they treated the story in this game. We need some additional files!!

Dunno, will tell you after ive done a run but when i see the challanges i would say its not really Time Trial like the other 2 modes.

Tried the Kendo one and man, those Poisen fuckers are really fucked up. When you kill them the poisencloud is quite big so distance is needed to not get poisened. If youre to close and get bitten its the same story.
It is like Hunk and Tofu but a tad harder IMHO. You start with almost nothing and the Enemys are quite dangerous.
Some Enemys have Flamethrower packs on the back which you can blow up or some have a backpack which leds you get a tiny bit of resource or a weapon. You can also get an item from dispenser which are around but you are only allowed to take one so you have to choose wisely.
Hoped for a bit more, lets see how long a run is (havent done one yet since i died) ^^
P.S: Sadly no voicelines for the Chars at all as it seems

This sounds cheap. I was hoping these DLCs will complete some of the missing elements from the story. I would prefer a raid/mercenary mode instead of this.
