I'm hoping it's a mistake and easily rectified but I guess the only thing getting rect here is the customers on the Steam store.
We'll see. For now the alt-tab crash is something I can easily replicate and users report DLSS blurring the UI so that's another one from the list.

I can alt tab without any problems though. But the UI is a blurry mess with DLSS.

It will probably be a nice experience once it's been patched to v1.2.5.3, just in time for the Steam release in 2020.

I want to play this game over the weekend since I will not be able to play games for few weeks after the weekend. You guys think it's worth picking up tonight or should I wait for a scene release ?

Those fucks are NO different then all the other Fucks. I don't blame them for switching it to Epic. Cheaper costs and rubbing the Steam nose in it! Steam should have known they would get some competition soon enuff! I bought it for $66 CAD and I know it would have been at least $79.99 if it never moved to Epic. Fuck Steam...even though I have hundreds of games from there!! Ps4 exclusives...Xbox One exclusives!! Port to PC....shitty ports to PC WTF! That pisses me off also!! Rant OVER! Hahah
Epic charges the game makers less to have it on there store then steam. That is competition and I am glad about that! It's how you get cheaper products! If steam continued on in total dominance they would start tacking on a FUCK YOU tax! Which I think is pretty much there now!

And this doesn't concern me as a consumer in the slightest. I don't give half a shit about their earnings.

For me it's not so much about one store or the other (while I prefer Steam since that's where I have almost all my games (I've got some AssCreeds on UPlay) and is the most well-developed platform to keep my non-material games), it's more about how Epic combined with Deep Silver/Koch fucked Steam for a quick cash grab and turned it into an 1-year exclusivity deal after having had Steam spend resources on promoting the game. I also don't want a bunch of different launchers installed just to play my games. Also, the more separate game launchers/game stores, the bigger the risk that you lose your games if one or several would fail (unless the publisher or developers feel sorry for you and sell them to you again for a discount).
I think it's good to take a stand against such dirty Montgomery Burns-business practices as well.

Afaik the Ranger Hardcore mode (no UI version a.k.a no sense version, IMO) was meant for those that already played the game and are familiar with it's mechanics.
