It kind of is...or worse. The animations are weird. Faye, mainly, with the way she talks and constant hand movement. Yikes.
Just finished and...it was awful. That story. They can't write. What a massive waste. Not to forget how short it was but padded with a forced free-play mission that took hours.
The best part of the game is the combat and that's it. Javelins too, I guess but nothing else is good. The strongholds are nice but only 3 at the moment and you are likely to get bored after a few runs.
The free-play is there just for name-sake. Too big with no map marking or teaming up or anything. You are thrown out in the open world and that's it. You can't notify or ping or get players to do open world events (which are a joke anyway). It's just there for collecting crafting items which are pointless till you get epic or higher.
The lack of basic stuff in online/looter type game is appalling.
I don't know. I wanted this to be good and like it but nope. Worse than Inquisition.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
I demoed this for 15 EUR and I have already uninstalled after about 3-4 hrs of playtime. It just can't hold my interest long enough. :-/ (And it's too repetitive).
Normally I don't like grind games but this is going to be exception
Animations of NPCs are goofy yes, but i don't mind.
Story is still better then Destiny 2.
Only bug i had was during mission was i got kicked suddenly with the message "Server has shutdown"
Grind is fine but lack of variety kind of makes it boring. Both mission variety and enemies. Same set, same pattern, same design. Am still doing contracts and they have been the same so far. The grandmaster difficulty doesn't do anything other than increasing damage and HP bar. The move-set is still the same.
Just disappointing for a game that has been in development for a long time. Feels like an RPG (new BioWare standard) game turned into an online shooter. The characters/city (Tarsis)/gameplay, etc all fits. Very similar to their Inquisition but blander.
Anyways, hoping the updates are good and QoL changes are dropped soon else don't see the game living for more than 4-6 weeks.

Well, the enlarged text is basically what happened to the game during it's development if I remember correctly.
I had taken time off (use it or lose vacation time from work) to play this and once I told my wife she says “ oh great we can go out of town then to visit family”. Doh.
Anyway, sounds like it still has a few issues to iron out so I guess it’s all good. Can you guys add me as Origin friend please so I can catch up to my friend once I’m back? I’ll add the rest of you that posted here once I’m back in town. Thanks.
