Apparently people go for freaky looking robotic Terminator/Transformer-like mice since they come out with new models all the time

I'll stick with my beloved G9x until it dies, if ever (and I'm using a Logitech MX518 with my A1200 via a Micromys v4-adapter, scrollwheel and all working).

My G9x is still running just fine (and I have the MX518 in reserve should my trusty and loved G9x die which I doubt).

Oh, the Logitech MX518 Legendary is about to be released in Europe (and the US as well I guess) which I think is great. I never thought Logitech would bring back a best seller in an updated version (Hero 16K sensor etc.). While I'm still using my Logitech G9x I still have my old MX518 as reserve (it's still working fine).

Pre-orders available at around €59

I'll probably need a new one soon too, my antique MX518 is losing its scroll wheel superpower and the plastic is physically wearing out. It still works though despite everything Razz

My 1st model of G502 had one or both thumb buttons do more than one click when passing through images in W7's presentation thingy...And if you pressed+hold the button and slide the finger around it no click would be heard, but it'd pass images like a B....That happened a ocuple? of months ago and the mouse was bought the day it got released in Spain (Dunno when was that exactly...)

Now i have the G502 SPECTRUM (RGB one) and for now no issues... It' s a superb mouse, specially the shape and the Fast Wheel option's a charm

I used to own 3 of those Logitech MX-like shaped mouses and they were all great... One was the one above but it wasn't the MX518, second it was a G with a blue/black spiderweb/weird design, then the one above... Now the G502 and G502 SPECTRUM

Before those i had a crappy generic mouse grinhurt

also g502 spectrum here.
after i saw the post about the mx518 in here, i got my old mx518 out of my desk, which laid there for like 6 years.
i agree it was a great mouse back then but now i can't imagine using it anymore. it feels bulky and i can't hold the mouse like im used to it now.
right now with the g502 i just drag the mouse with the fingers over the mousepad. with the mx518 you have to put your whole hand on the mouse. it's a disgusting feeling all that hand grease and dirt, especially when you play for a long time and the hands start to sweat.

no thanks. it was great back then, but time moved on for me.

Well, I guess I have to join the G502 club here. I had a lot of crappy mice over the years, finally got enough money to buy G502 some two years ago and it is the best thing I've used. From shape to funcionality, everything is just perfect for me! If and when this one die, I will simply buy the same one again.

Is the 502 really worth it? Seems a few here recommend it.
Anyone had it a year or so and still think its solid?
I gave it a pass, admittedly because it reminded me of the RATT and the other transformer looking/angular/overly stealth fighter design looking ones I have had that failed within a few months or just outright broke (the RATT left click got so wore out that the weight of my finger touching it would make it click).

I personally couldn't get used to g502. The mini buttons on the left mouse button were just getting in the way

got it for over 2 years now and im still happy with it.
had a normal g502 before that already for a long time but had some double click problems so in return they send me the newer spectrum version as replacement.

it just fit my needs, shape, feeling, enough buttons and fast spinning wheel.
it's not perfect tho.

- the wheel is wobbling (which seems to be normal) so using it as middle mouse button when clicking on the wheel is not really a good idea. also tilting the wheel left/right isn't perfect for me, so i don't use this feature anymore.
- if you got sticky/sweaty fingers the left and right mouse buttons tend to stick to finger and then you can move them a little bit up and make a cheap plastic feeling sound, which shouldn't happen in my opinion. don't know how i should describe this better. Sad

other then that no problems at my end Smile
it's always the best to order multiple mices so you can see for yourself if it fit your needs or even better look at them in a store so you don't have to send them all back Very Happy

Middle mouse click wouldn't be an issue for me, I maybe click middle mouse a 1/2 dozen times a month? (think its just I'm old and use to not having it so dont use it).

I might try one out and see. Im on a m510 right now. its great, but a simple no nonsense basic mouse.

I recently replaced my old G502 single color to a G502 multicolor Laughing Not the latest one, as it was expensive and I don't need all that precision. The G502 colorful was very cheap on Amazon so I just ordered.

For work, I have an MX Master 2S, which I much prefer ergonomically. It's a shame they don't have a hardware switch in those to make them wired mice with little lag when connected with the cable (like they do for some of the wireless gaming mice).

It seems like most of us have the G502, heh. I also settled with it back when I asked here. Absolutely loving it, great build quality, which is to be expected from Logitech. Before I got it I thought it would be bigger and thus maybe somewhat uncomfortable for my tiny hands, however it's not the case, the size is just right for me. The multitude of buttons allowed me to go for even smoother gameplay in Warframe where it was getting hard to find places in my layout where I could fit hotkeys for the increasing number of usables and what not. Great for other games too, but it's mostly WF that I'm making use of most of them.

I got g305 for my laptop(cuz I am tired of the mx anywhere 2 sensor).

Its much better accuracy, but lack BT support, battery charge and fast scrolls(which is the most signify thing I love from my mx anywhere), it's a pure wireless mouse so not even wired option...

Other then this it's great mouse and battery life is great., but I don't fully understand why they skipped the fast scroll which exist even in g903....

Oh and there isn't RGB on the G symbol .. but I guess its done to save battery.
