Yeah, I just picked the first video that looked legit. I did notice the music but I muted it instantly. Razz

She has perfect pitch, which is probably the most helpful part in translating whatever she hears into notes Razz

hard to not have perfect pitch, when you have a visual indicator of what note you're hearing Laughing

Can you train pitch? Confused

Not sure what you're asking.

She literally sees bright colored spots in her vision while listening to music, a separate color spot for each note she hears.

What I'm saying is that it can help sure but getting a pitch is also about physical properties.

you are somewhat correct, simplified:
the physical properties being that in the inner ear you have certain hairs connected to nerve endings, and each hair vibrates on a certain frequency - stimulating the specific nerve ending
so in addition to hearing each stimuli to the endings, she also sees a visual colored spot corresponding to that stimuli

if physically the hairs or nerves are damaged or not positioned right - you won't have perfect pitch
but otherwise it's outside of her control
she just has to map a certain colored spot to a certain note and done - perfect pitch
(my interpretation)
