BS. he showed on stream/youtube how to exploit in strongholds. droprate is far from fucked, playing for one week and have to javs on 495 itemlevel. legendary and masterworks droprate is fine, the rolls are sometimes a little bit funky but hey. game has problems for sure, but im still playing and still have fun!

Bullshit. This fucking loser exploited the shit out of the game on stream, logged out during boss kills just to farm it without any work whatsoever, and the worst thing is that those retards on reddit and forums defend him, pretending it was just because of chest farm circles.

He got not banned for using an exploit, it's more that he did it on stream... i mean if he wouldn't stream, no ban. But if he was so stupid to do it on stream, it's his own fault.
Also i would believe ubisoft, activision etc. would ban him also if he would use an exploit on stream.

You sound totally reasonable.  It's a farming game, destiny has been dealing with this kind of stuff for ages, and i haven't heard of anyone getting banned for it lol. Final nails in the coffin if you ask me. |
What would you prefer to be done? He constantly exploited, on stream, on purpose. Just let him get away with it, because it was possible? Imo if someone exploits by chance, or on purpose but only once or twice, he should get a warn. But if you do it on purpose for hours, and even stream it to teach others how to do it, you should get a perma ban.

Exploiting is a bannable offence in any game. ANd for good reason. Even worse, when you show everyone how to do it.
Now you can argue, how much or little impact it has in a game, for instance very little in Anthem, since there is no competitive side, nor pvp, nor trading, but they have to be strict about it or not at all.
Otherwise, you'll end up with a lot of "but he did that, why can't I do this?" in the future.

Yeah, as I said, one can argue about the actual impact, but in the end, it's something that gets you banned in any game.
If you find an exploit, report it privately and don't use it and certainly don't spread it around on the net.
Has been like this for 20 years at least now.

And this was AFTER the release was pushed to this year, can't imagine how it would be if it was released in 2018 as planned

I have the dubious pleasure of working for PS Network support. Right now, Sony do not recognise any claims that consoles are being 'bricked', and are not offering refunds to affected players, contrary to the BBC and other lesser 'news' outlets.
