I didnt, and despite a month of origins premier is a bit to overpriced compared to basic. I got to have some fun with it until I get to buy it in a year or two for next to nothing. Way to many MP games to play at once, and with a job... time is limited Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

Just found that, that by default, BFV doesn't have SLI support...

had to add it manually with inspector...

And I was wondering, why it only ran about "as half as good" as BF1 lol.

Now I am back at 60 FPS locked at Ultra (unlocked it hits 100+)

Nvidia, pathetic... same with Apex Legends, The Division 2 and probably more. I guess SLI is done Sad

I think that is mainly down to selective memory.

Every now and then, I have some nostalgia moments, where I reinstall Games like BF2 or even BF2142 and play them for a bit and well...

Graphics aside, those were top for their time, the games themselves, well...

not that great now.

The Spam, of all kinds, radio, grenade, what have you, the gameplay mechanics, the gunplay etc.

Just horrible Smile

Oh, and BF2 added so much because they hired the guys who made Desert Combat mod for BF1942 to basically make them the game for them, minus the engine.

Battlefield 1942 VANILLA wasn't all that great, but the ability to mod it made it WAY bigger and more appealing.

Forgotten Hope and Desert Combat really catapulted that game and with it the franchise to never expected heights, if you ask me.

Since when BFBC2 is the best Battlefield game? Laughing In many ways it can barely be called a Battlefield game.

Bad Company 2 was the best Battlefield game. And then they patched it one last time and fucked it up. So it’s not. Instead it was.

Updating...7.46gb

**Dlss working on 4k (only) native or DSR like I did.

Runs really well!! Mostly over 60 quite often over 70 with some dips to 55 with RTX on and dlss

Can't complain about the looks of it! For the campain it's perfect!

man when i5 4690k at 4.5GHz can not maintain 60fps on medium, something must be wrong... Mad

I should invest 120 EUR more 5 years ago and get i7 instead Laughing but everyone was like HT is pointless... Yeah I see now Laughing

I don't think that's the CPU.

Before my recent upgrade, I had 2 970's in SLi, but could only get 60fpsish @1080 with medium settings. Then I figured out, after several months lol, that SLI wasn't supported. Once I applied a fix for that, I was back at my BF1 kind of FPS (100ish at Ultra). Now obviously the SLI part doesn't apply to you, but the 1x 970 = 60ish fps@medium does.

The 1070 is faster than a 970, but I don't think it is "that much" faster. So that's just might be it.

(I have a i7 6700k@4.3ghz)

Well when gpu is at 50% and you are at 50fps then cpu is the blame. I am 100% sure that this is cpu bottleneck. There are even videos comparing i5 v i7 fps and yes, the i7 is like 2x times faster on same clock, same generation.

1070 is like 50% faster than 970. I had before one, so I feel the difference Smile

BF V seems to prefer 4c/8t (or more cores) over 4c/4t, esp. with latest patches and DX12 making use of multi threading more and much better than DX11 giving somewhat better performance depending on setup.

its the cpu, bf1 at launch was fine with 4cores but over time the 64player maps became more demanding for some reason, smaller modes run great. same with bf5 but it seems even i7 haswell is bottlenecking

I still think it is amusing that 5 months later the Armory seems to have not changed items yet as they keep on extending what looks like the same items for another 2 weeks each time because the store bought Company Coins are not out yet so they do not want the hard core grinders to buy everything early and stop playing.
