though i score him better than yong naaaaaaaay because last i watched he at least has an opinion on what he is talking about apart from vehemently agreeing
and he likes to praise his own virtues of being non partisan even though it's seen, when taking all his videos as a whole, he isn't. mind you that i mostly agree with what he is being outraged about or whatever, but he kinda comes off as chasing the outrage and i feel like he's just tsying to appeal to the outraged people so it comes off as fake
The game plays very well, it's worth a try even for BR sceptics, highly recommended.
Too bad about the random crashes, hopefully they will fix this soon.
Even with the said crashes I keep coming back to it. No other game could do that, maybe becuase nowadays I'm so disaccustomed to crashes, I guess my luck ran out with this one heh...

I agree with you on The Quartering but I accept he is doing it for more views, this is the state of Youtube nowadays. He has admitted Apex Legends is a good game though and a huge success. So I think it's worth it to hear his opinion.

According to Reuters, Electronic Arts has paid a streamer, Tyler „Ninja” Belvins, one million dollars for promoting the battle royale shooter Apex Legends. The publisher confirms that it did pay some content creators during a short promo action.
Well I guess paying content creators is relatively cheap marketing for EA. Not that the game needed any marketing I think as it did stellar on the first day without content creators telling people to go play it.
What EA should do instead is to spend money on setting up China only servers and beefing up the anticheat.
Playing in Asia sucks dick when before Round 1 ends, it's down to 3 squads. Basically my friends, and 2 Chinese squads both with auto aim, wall hacks, and speed hacks.
A few weeks back I thought I just sucked because even with top tier armor I would literally melt in combat against some players. Asked on reddit and I was told to 'git gud'. Well turns out the apex sub is now filled with people complaining about this. Top tier armor is no match for auto aimed headshots. It's like there's a handful of hacker squads in every match now.
My last game was pretty scary due to a speed hacking team that ran past us while we were looting. He was moving too fast to probably notice us lol. That was a jump scare.
Anyway we made it to the last round with just our team against the hackers. They then proceeded to punch us to death.
Ban China.
Also lol @ EA funding that BR mode for Battlefield V. Just admit you made shit choices by shitting on Respawn with Titanfall 2's release. That was a better game than One. And this is a better game than V.

have you seen the first battlepass on fortnite? it did have 1 only skin, nothing more... 3 months later, got really big with almost the same things as apex now, but with the twist of getting back the cost of the battlepass itself.
want to talk about pubg? never saw something more retarded as their battlepass the first time around.... and we played pubg in early access for an year.
also all these "battlepasses" got few months after the release of the game, apex? 1 month and few days.
i call that an outstanding move for now, because they will adjust the userbase needs for the next seasons in just 3 months.

you raise good points, but at least for me these are overshadowed by a good game that it "works" (besides crashing... oh god, how many times i've already done that.) better than fortnite and pubg.
and you are absolutely right about assets from titanfall: i just started playing again this little gem that i forgot thanks to bf4 (fuck you ea for the same timewindow) and it's exactly the same... many buildings layouts are 1:1 copy for places and locations in maps of titanfall.
but we are talking about contents inside a battlepass for a game, that NOBODY know existed 1 month ago and now everyone is freaking out because they want the same things pubg and fortnite are having right now, but better.
personally the 3 skins are ok, but they could have been very much better, but overall for a pass with goodies and if you play enough you can retake the next battlepass, i wouldn't be so hard on them.
look at fortnite... the BR mode was put inside thanks to a single dev doing it in the spare time, the base game was a laughing joke right at that time; they put every coin gained from microtransations to get more designers and artists.

i know how you feel, but i think they got pressured from reddit and alike to release "something" before doing a mistake that no one will ever play again, these games are like "swim or die", and by telling anyone that you get back the value you spent by playing with the battlepass, they are taking time to get what everyone want.
the error was to post a roadmap the very next day of launch... that bound them to do as written, otherwise enraging all the entitled community (at least is not like the subreddit for anthem )... they got so much backlash for just postponing 1 week BECAUSE RUMORS SAID SO.

You're are probably right about the pressure from community. The game doesn't have that much content and without a ranking system, many players need an incentive to keep playing.
I just hope they won't fuck this up (quite naive of me). I want to keep playing a BR and since I'm completely burnt out with PUBG, APEX is the only BR I find appealing.

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
Edit: I don't know if they can rectify it but if not a lot of players are gonna be very pissed. If you haven't updated then maybe hold off until you hear something - the servers are down as well right now so it's pointless.
