It's a bit similar to Steam so the PS4 download is "merely" 45 GB and mostly replaces the on-disc content with the latest data but it requires double the space for I guess temporary copy file action or something to ensure it all works during this process.

Much like Steam pulling these pain in the ass encrypted archives and having to decrypt and unpack them instead of just withholding the exe file and doing a much quicker job once the game in question is released and that last bit can just be a few Mega-Bites of additional download data. Razz


EDIT: Well I guess UPlay does that in a way just using the client to prevent the game from being started and usually a last update or so when it's released if you preloaded the game earlier.

vladimir finally hooked me up by using the client instead of website.
It says WW (World Wide), I'm fairly sure we won't have issues.

Looking forward to the release, haven't had any game to play in the past few weeks.

I think it's tonight at 11pm in CET

EDIT: its a rolling release, starting in NZ/AUS at 2PM CET. Should be playable with VPN, at least it did with prior uplay games for me.

Any idea if there is VPN early launch possibility then? (as I can see that game launches at same 22:00 local time in US and in Japan)

Well, it has like 12 languages to choose from now Wink
I don't think it will suddenly change to just Russian after game unlocks.

Im activated the game through TigerVPN, created character and disconnected vpn after confirming the character.

Language is in english (bought with russian vpn)

After disconnecting vpn game looses connection with server.
Game will reconnect and you can play without vpn.




Edit will test if i can play without vpn after closing game completely..
update..game wont launch without vpn -> "coming soon"

There should be an option in Uplay to choose what free game you want, at least that's how I got it.

Bought normal edition from RU store and was able to choose a free game.

So I got TD2 and WD2 for 24$, lol. Sounds like a good deal to me ^^

The endgame of The Division 2 seems pretty good. I will definitely watch out for reviews in the first week or so before playing it myself, though.

The store page shows pretty much all languages available and the invoice says its a worldwide edition so far it looks like there wont be any issues.
