Graphics obviously still suck, but it looks to have some nice features. Hopefully it's better than that the recent Call of Cthulhu, shouldn't be too hard to beat that stinker though
From a storytelling perspective, it wasn't a bad interpretation of Lovecraft's work. The technical and gameplay execution were the real problems.
I wonder if Frogwares has the resources to pull off what they are trying to achieve with this game. The Sinking City almost sounds too good to be real.

I like the sound of that^^

Agreed, there were some interesting ideas in that game (on paper) but their actual implementation really was quite baffling. At least it made me reinstall Dark Corners of the Earth so it wasn't all in vain.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
Lesquin — Bigben is pleased to announce that The Sinking City will part of the Epic Games store catalogue as soon as it is released on June 27th. The digital PC version of the game will be sold as an exclusive on the Epic Games store for one year.
It's going to end well for them. Free market is a lie, the consumers are easy to manipulate.
well i guess there is a reason why microsoft starts releasing their games back on steam again even though they "tried" with their own platform through keeping their 1st partytitles like forza state of decay 2 etc as exclusives.

I disagree, as such practices always bring repercussions.
I agree, though, that consumers are unaware and... mostly lost. This will change. Partially.
What fucking repercussions? I'm genuinely curious. I've yet to see any of the fuckers ruining gaming get punished for all the bullshit they've been pulling for years.

One thing, the shitty quality of their platform. Epic/Fortnite was already hacked last year (9 million accounts leaked ), and just looking at the Epic Store, it seems only a matter of time before this gets targeted as well. Actually, it wouldn't surprise me it has already been hacked.
Edit: second thing is obviously the suspicion of Chinese spying, with Tencent close to having the majority of Epic shares.
