Jason Carl of White Wolf Entertainment hosts a Vampire: The Masquerade game on Geek and Sundry on Twitch as the story teller and during last nights episode they showed a Tender commercial so I think that pretty much confirms we are getting the new game news at GDC. Plus his twitter also confirms he will be at GDC March 20-22 so it does look like that is when the announcement will happen.
..hope this announcement will boost the paradox stock.. everything else they've done recently has just made it drop lol (new DLC+console games - drop! New studio opened - drop!)
On one hand, I would glad it's not a MMO or BattleRoyale, or Hero shooter, or Card game, or MOBA, etc. But I've beaten VtMB enough times already. If this is a remake, I just hope it is prepping the world for a proper "Sequel".
Spoiler:
If it is a remake, a 50 hour long romance questline with Jeanette please
Actually there are speculations on rpgcodex and minor proof that the city is Seattle (OR, it is heavily inspired by):
The bicycle/street screenshot is a close match to 137 James Street in Seattle.
That tall building screenshot in the night is actually almost a 1:1 recreation of the Pacific Tower which is based in Seattle.
The pier video that we saw can't actually be Santa Monica as the sea there goes into open ocean, but in that video we can see actual land and lights in the distance.
A few of those images actually look like locations and story elements from the current Vampire LA By Night game they are running on Geek and Sundry on Twitch which has Jason Carl as the GM. Also some of the cast did mention they will be at GDC this week.
Here is the first season episodes if anyone wants to check them out.
I really don't think it's a remake, it's extremely rare to see someone doing that. I also think that could disappoint fans, and they're probably careful enough not to do that..
edit: nice boost with the stock today. Will be interesting to see what happens tomorrow..
Nah this ARG is going for a while now (https://wiki.gamedetectives.net/index.php?title=Tender) and while i would personally love an MMO if it's well made i doubt it's that, MMOs are dead so if anything there will be coop or something like that.

It has, yeah, but those Twitch-link in-game rewards are new. Why would they even bother with t-shirts etc. if it wasn't a multiplayer game?

Tons of games have clothes, BOTW has shirts and it's not an MMO.
Of course, but this is about Twitch loot or whatever it's called now; to me at least it would suggest a multiplayer emphasis rather than singleplayer. How many singleplayer games have gotten Twitch-exclusive cosmetic gear compared to multiplayer games?

Yeah that's the only one I could come up with off-hand as well, but I'm guessing the ratio's gotta be at least 1:20.
But we'll find out soon enough - I won't mind if it turns out to be a MP-focused game, but it'd be really sweet if we got another single-player CRPG in Vampire setting.
Removed seminude prostitute from SM again and from Chinatown too.
Why? What's wrong with semi-nude prostitutes? Do they normally cover from head to toe?
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.
