Ok, but how to top-up wallet for those who "moved" to either India or Argentina? There is no option to buy games on Steam using paypal if you are from those countries.

There is no PP in India for sure, but VISA CC works. Using my local one with no problems for over a year.

Again mco2vie is right... Just buy a voucher on one account in your country and gift it to the one in India or Argentina and the currency will be automatically converted when the gift is accepted. Everyone has more than one Steam account surely? If you don't then get another and add it to the friends of the Indian/Argentinian account. You have to have been friends for 3 days - all the info is actually on the Steam site follow the link I put up last time Rolling Eyes

Apparently roughly 90% of sales in Asia are from cash in general. Costs Valve up to 15% of the price per sale. Wonder how Epic's going to do them? Lose money with every game sold? Laughing

Conventional wisdom is, standard payment methods like credit cards and Paypal cover most of the pie. Not if you want to reach emerging markets or make the opportunity bigger for devs. Players buying your games in Asia in 2018 actually used 87.5% “non-standard” payment methods!

Cash is important. Our cash cards are available in 50 countries. They’re much more expensive than standard payment methods, costing Valve 10-15% of the price, but that's fine with us- it's the level of investment necessary to grow emerging markets for your next game.

Unfortunately, this is inaccurate, Steam Cards here is SEA are marked up 15-20%. Valve sells to a middleman who then resells to retail and the cost is passed on to the cash paying consumer. Playstation Cards, however, can be bought at 7-11 or just about any gaming store for face value.

might want to check if you have an authorized retailer available https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=1193-WLXV-6514
it's a common practice in emerging markets for unauthorized stores to mark up prices, preying on people and markets with lack of knowledge/options/competition

It's a bundle 'not a single product' as CoD Collection is listed. If that's even matter. Smile

ps. Rocksmith collection is not that cheap neither.

Offline again? Hmm wonder if they're doing unscheduled maintenance (Should be on Tuesdays but not for another six hours or so.) and I think this is the second time today.

Might be some other back-end work though or just overall traffic.
