I finished it with the best ending. The last boss fight was quite the challenge. Mr. Green
I enjoyed it a lot and I want to see more of this combat system. I hope From Software will release some DLCs for this game.

Finished it after about 40 hours. Did basically everything. Only minor complaints really, overall I thought it was fantastic.

That final boss is so sick (immortal severance ending) . The way he enters the fight and how the weather changes throughout holy shit :O
He was tough and killed me more then any other boss but once I focused on being more defensive I had success. The sword fights in this game look so awesome when your exchanging parries with bosses!

Any mod to make the enemies hit for less damage or something? Not looking for god mode, just don't want to practice bosses for 3 seconds before being sent to the campfire again Laughing

There are cheat engine tables but that's it, i still recommend sticking with it i mean i'm n old fart and generally bad at twitchy games but i still managed to beat most of the Bosses so far and if i can do it anyone can.

I'm sure i can get through it, it's just the repetitiveness of it that's killing me. How many times do i need to kill the trash mobs to get to the miniboss to fight and die to it to start over, you know? Atm i'm averaging around 3-4 deaths.

Can't say i'm a big fan of the game's design, i would like a game difficulty where it's more in tune to other similar action games.

use cheatengine to enable immortality and train as much as you like. When you feel ready to really take on a boss, disable it (set a hotkey). Fuck this shit. Rage

Why don't you go back to the training guy? He usually has the new moves you encounter and can practice with no consequences.

Played until I found the first tool and that mini-boss, love the game, have to forget the dodging from soulsborne..badly.

After having the workweek off from gaming I beat Genichiro in 3 tries. Sometimes you just need a bit of time off to reset, my system was too fucked up playing Sekiro all weekend long last time I tried..

how easy is cheatengine to set up? i'm a programmer but i'm too lazy to spend time setting up things like this (took me forever to get around to using reshade for the same reason haha)

i wouldn't mind dying to bosses so long as the useless undying guy is able to make use of the movelist of bosses you've died to

i agree that setting up the fight for 10 minutes then dying in under 1 minute gets a bit tedious

@AKofC

just install it, download the table http://fearlessrevolution.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=8938 , run the game, run cheatnegine, open the game and the table in cheatengine and activate what you need. You can RMB click on what you've activated and set a shortcut, so that you wouldn't have to alt-tab

Ok maybe there is little hope in me. I've beaten genichiro and longswordsman guy (fuck camera in that room)... so I can progress, even though I've been in all the places before killing genichiro

If you beat the rider you are good to go she's pretty much just a tutorial fight, every boss after her is way harder even most of the mini bosses.

Haven't beat anyone, just entered the Estate level and reached her - she beats the crap out of me, I barely take half her first stance.

She's definitely beatable this early if you just spam dodge attack and shuriken her if she goes up on the wires but i would do chained ogre and the rider first maybe even grind a bit for some skills, the 3 mobs the tengu wants for the 3rd skilltree quest are pretty good xp at that point.

Don't teach him to play like this. She's a good boss to learn how to deflect.

In many situations it's better to run than dodge in this game.
