The expansion features story-driven scenario that tells a story of Anja living in a warzone and carrying a heavy burden as she has to answer to herself what is more important - survival of human legacy or the survival of a man.
Tomasz Kisilewicz, the lead artist behind Fading Embers, underlines non-linear approach to gameplay as well as the main theme: "This Story focuses on choices that lead to multiple endings that were necessary to cover the question of what has the bigger value: things made by men that outlast life or the life itself. When you think about it, humans stand against the destructive power of war not only to save themselves but also to save what entire generations create."
Fading Embers is going to be released on Steam, GOG, Humble Store and Mac Appstore on the 6th of August

11 bit studios, the creator of the famous anti-war game This War of Mine, has released a very heartwrenching statement about the war currently happening in Ukraine, in which they lovingly refer to them as their neighbours, stating that they absolutely stand against the actions of Russia and that they will back their words through action by giving all the profits that their game makes for the next week — all the DLC, all the platforms, and in all the stores — to the Ukrainian Red Cross.
Just 24 hours after the statement by 11 bit studios mentioning that all proceeds for the title This War of Mine would help the war victims of Ukraine, people from all over the world have raised $160,000. This is our plead to you: Just because we achieved such a significant milestone in a short period of time does not mean we should stop; any purchase of This War of Mine in any storefront supports those whose lives turned grim overnight.
