I made few slots available yesterday (gnnh... you CANNOT see the last online for the players). So I kicked few < max level players (ie. under 30)
There's probably a lot more players to be kicked, but it's very difficult without knowing at all whom to kick (I think Officers also have the right to kick players, I made in the beginning few players into officers, I hope it's mostly forum members (+ also a friend of mine is an officer - gurgleburgler - he plays the game a lot and can be surely asked for groups)
I haven't had too much time lately, mostly been 'watching' crusader kings 2 and netflix while recovering from work stress
Intel Core I-9 9900K @ stock, ASUS Z 390A MoBo, 32GB 3.6GHz, Zotac 3090 | BeQuiet 1000W PSU, Be Quiet Dark Base Pro 900 case, 49" Samsung G9
The servers will shut down for a scheduled maintenance Thursday, April 11th at 09:30 AM CEST / 03:30 AM EDT / 00:30 AM PDT. Estimated downtime is approximately 3 hours.
During the maintenance, we will deploy the following fixes.
Fixed not being able to fast travel to the Castle settlement.
Fixed several cases of abnormal Bounty boss skill-use behaviour.
Fixed an issue causing the Nemesis crafting materials to be unobtainable.
Fixed Delta-03 error occurring at the end of Conflict matches.
Fixed an issue that would cause the pathfinding line to behave abnormally when in close proximity to your destination.
Fixed the “donating” sound playing repeatedly after having donated and abandoned a daily mission.
Fixed an issue related to cache countdown timers.
Fixed an issue where Specialization ammunition drop rate was lower than intended
Please follow this thread for any updates as the maintenance progresses.

Still showing full for me
probably got full after I logged out
As the clan is open (I can make it closed, but then you'll need an invite from a friend)

Nice but I guess the other bug(?) where you lose all signature ammo on fast travel is still a thing, kinda annoying having to scavenge it during missions though at least this fix should ensure you get more than 2 - 3 shots although the grenade launcher seems to be about the only signature weapon worth it really.
Crossbow and explosive bolt - delayed explosion and doesn't even cause damage until said explosion plus said delay means it's very weak against groups who will scatter when you fire a AoE attack.
Sniper - Bolt action and high damage but the buffs for it and low ammo are pretty poor and it's better to just use a regular bolt action as a secondary weapon.
Guess we'll see how the minigun works, buffs and skills are nice so there's that even outside of the signature weapons themselves.
Seems the unlockable weapons now also scale so instead of a level 1 .50 Desert Eagle for Survivalists it's a Tier 1 GS 300 weapon with far better stats though for WT2 and above it will come up a bit short. (High damage but just a scope mod and slow rate of fire and low ammo capacity.) though I guess it's more of a extra.
Rebalanced weapon accessories seem like a placeholder too with multiple doing the same thing instead of having one advantage and one trade-off and some even retain the trade-off whereas others just have a minor buff and there's no real consistency as to what piece does what.
Will be interesting to see what the next major patch will bring, up to World Tier 2 so far and at least it wasn't as bad as I expected having to clear each stronghold every time to advance up to the next tier but there's no way down and enemies get ridiculous buffs and boosts plus they have a greater tendency to rush and use their shield and health to just run at you ha ha.
Still not as bullet spongy as Division 1 gets and the world and exploration is really well made though gameplay has it's quirks and that's not even getting into AI behavior such as not reloading and the grenade accuracy but so far it's mostly minor complaints ad a bit of fatigue trying to clear the game in full.
Will be interesting to see what other content will also be released but I guess these raids or what they are is going to be the first thing. Pentagon for one of these I think it was?
Ubisoft has issued an apology for an image in The Division 2 that contained a homophobic slur, and removed it from the game. The multi-story piece of street art, which first came to notice earlier this week, depicted a police officer eating a donut while wearing badge number "FA6607".
Quote:
"It's been brought to our attention that a piece of street art in Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 contained offensive content. We removed the image from the game via a patch on Thursday, April 11," Ubisoft said in a statement.
"We apologize that this image slipped through our content review processes, and we are currently reviewing them in order to avoid this kind of oversight from occurring in the future."

It's not too bad but it does slow down a bit once you earn a few levels and enemies also scale with you through it all meaning they get far tougher, Black Tusks once you hit World Tier 1 and above seems especially geared towards co-op though with radio messages and such even tuned to make it sound like a group moving trough the area rather than one lone player his turret of full auto fuckery (Until some fat armored arse steps on it. Fuckers.) and whatever the secondary skill is, revive can be useful against No Respawn cause boss is a dick zones but I prefer the drone though it's kinda derpy after the first patch and regularly goes WUT? and flies back and forth doing little of value although as long as you have a clear sight to the target it usually works.
(Until the cowards duck behind something again.)
Enemy skill spam is a thing too (Fucking medic is reviving the dead again and so is his drone!) but the game doesn't often block you completely from backtracking so bravely advancing backwards while dealing with the enemies idiocy of funneling into chokepoints is still a valid tactic as ever.
(And manually cancelling out turret and drone skills to halve the cooldown because somehow that just works like that.)
EDIT: Like seriously I shot this total arse throwing grenades like a pro Call of Duty player from elementary school even hitting the grenade bag in the process and ending with a fire attack or whatever and then this red cross wannabe mofo just pieces the fucking bomberman dude back together and gets him returned to life, it'd be one thing if they buffed or even healed the injured but FFS stop raising the really fucking dead with your nano voodoo nonsense.
(Think the Hyenas have a few buffs, it's called trying to be Scarface high as shit on Cocaine and here's the sawn off and boop and detoxed that bitch trying to flail a telescopic baton at someone carrying a automatic rifle, sniper and handgun/sawn-off. Good luck with that!)
(Until they sneak up on you, surprisingly high damage for a little rubber stick.)
EDIT: Sledgehammer-bro doesn't really sneak much come to think of it but then again they're mostly slow and also quite flammable though actually don't have any designated weak spots.
EDIT: Still having fun though, just about ready for WT3 but first some prep work.
("Sorry, base is closed until you resolve these two other missions first.")
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
Every day I play a few rounds of conflict and it's always the same shit.
marcostyle is spot on, there is no "outskilling" or "outmanoeuvring" each other, it's just hold fire until you or the one in front of you dies.
And the Skill issue is not only affecting pvp but also PvE. There is basically no skill based build, that would outdamage or outperform a pure weapon build.
Either the damage is too low or the cooldown is enormous. I mean, It's probably possible to make an OP skill based build, at least for PvE, but the amount of items you need with the proper talents and specs etc. is staggering.
Weapon build basically just need +dam (or crit%, crit dam) and it's good to go.
Animation glitches and jerkiness seem to be a bit of a thing, guessing server load might be partially responsible since it can get really problematic when the server registers a few hits and then they all get queued up and hit immediately which seems to be a thing for when the armor you had mysteriously just disappears.
Might be worse now in Tier mode too and there being more players and activities here, event ongoing too about RNG'ing 30 crate keys via various means although I've not entered the Dark Zones and am trying to gear up for Tier3 now, only one more stronghold and then the Tidal Basin which is probably going to be *SUPER FUN* to solo but eh Roosewelt Island wasn't too tough even with "FUCK YOU WE'RE ENTERING FROM THE REAR." spawn tendency and cheap usage of all the purples and yellow enemies.
(Yellows are curious, you get all these bonuses against these elites meaning purples are the actual threats as long as you don't get hit at which point yellows still deal a ton of damage but die in seconds including named bosses and there's usually only one or two so they're fairly weak overall due to how quickly they go down.)
Forced Tier progression was unfortunate too, was hoping to get into the Owl room in Roosevelt Island but that's not happening in 30 seconds.
Might be back with Item Score 500 gear once the final stronghold is taken out with Tidal Basin just to see if there's anything of loot in there.
Looks like I found a answer for as to why camo skins and clothing items also no longer drop, there's just far less of these unlike the 800 some my character has in Div1 because lol Agent Underwear looting your apartment for unmentionables.
Ubisoft cheap out on servers?! Shocker! It's not like all the online games from Ubisoft release without dedicated servers. Then later on when these games proved financially successful, they add dedicated servers to the ecstasy of the players who praise them for supporting these games.
