no it's still not illegal but in 1 neighberhood of amsterdam you cant smoke it outside because people where causing problems... grrr always some1 that messes it up... and btw many people think you can only buy weed in amsterdam... but nope evry city in holland got atleast 1 shop ^^

You cant smoke ANYWHERE in Ontario....well, least in southern ontario (peel region, york reigion, durham and metro).
Some bars have found a way around it, but after July, there will be no smoking in any public place and no smoking at work....fuck, i work in a shop during the winter months and we, right now, have been told we cant smoke while we're working...not one non smoker works at my shop too, so it makes no sense.
I can inhal gas fumes and all the other bad shit that results because of welding and working with steel,. but heaven forbid I light a fuckin cigarette....SO FUCKIN RETARDED.
Well, truth be told, if I need a smoke I just go chill in the owners office for 5 mins and have one...but it sucks for all the guy's who work for me

yeah but if there are more shops, you can buy more, and come back in the evening and do it all again.
so 20-30 g a day is perfectly doable |

So, I don't see the big deal here...I live in Rotterdam and I personally would like to see smoking weed/cigarettes banned in ALL public places - but particularly bars, restaurants etc.
I can't think of many things more annoying than going to eat a nice meal and having to suffer the stench of smoke in the air - it puts me right off.
And as for weed - please remember it IS illegal in the Netherlands - just decriminalized - there are big campaigns to re-criminalize it again. I having nothing against weed really - what people do behind closed doors is their business, but I don't see why people should have to suffer the local G-Unit's smoking it in public, in metros etc.
Sorry to be a moany git, but as the G-Unit's would say - here's my fifty cents.
