И тем не менее мы продолжим наш пиар и даже усилим его. Не мы первые начали эту войну. Слишком крутые у нас конкуренты и слишком сильно пиратское коммунити. Они заказывают материалы против нас - мы будем защищаться.
А что касается консолей - ждите StarForce на PS2

if they going to create SF for ps2 then probably also for ps3. I see this as an good development coz then console hackers then have something to play with.

We know that but like they said on the main Starforce site they what to use SF for other stuff
so the big question is now what other stuff  movies , consoles , cd-audio
anyway new ColdPlay album is so massive protected that you need a special instruction to play it :
"Thank you very much to have bought this CD and to support the cause" Anti-Hacking ". The recording present on this CD has a protection anti-copy. It cannot be copied from a PC So that you can fully appreciate a music of high quality, we added this special technology (sic).
Before the use, please read attentively what follows:
Conditions of use:
This CD cannot be engraved on Cd-R or a hard disk, nor to be converted into MP3 for file sharing.
This CD was manufactured to be read in platinums standard CD, but it is possible that it is illegible in certain readers:
- Certain readers having the possibility of copying in MP3 (like certain portable readers or of car)
- Certain readers CD having a function Cd-r/rw (like certain portable readers or of car)
- Certain cars with guidance by satellite
- Certain readers equipped with a hard disk
- Certain engravers Cd-r/rw used for the music
- Certain portable readers
- Certain readers DVD

- Certain game consoles
Although you can use the program of Windows to listen to certain tracks on your PC, that does not mean that this CD can be read in all the PC.

IN OTHER WORDS?!?!!? - " DONT BUY ORIGINAL MUSIC CD " We can listen to MTV... lol
or better yet, use a recoreder... too dumb, everything can be copied! just play the cd in another Recorder.... which will recored input output... so so stupid... still maintaing the stereo quality... duh!

StarForce (and any other protection for that matter) is useless on audio CD or movie DVD because those media have to be compatible with regular set-top and stereo players. All one would have to do to get an unprotected copy is put the disc in and bypass the autorun that installs the protection software.
Back OT though... Surely what SFN does is considered rootkit technology (i.e. hiding devices from the system). That doesn't make it any less popular, useful or secure, and there is no other way to implement it.

I've just read the label on Coldplay CD. It's unbelievable. It's actually unplayable on the most part of the present CD players. Why should I buy an original CD if I can't even play it on my car stereo? They definitely found the means of stopping the purchase of original CDs.
