any abandoned city should look very green even after a short time, theres plently of pictures out there Smile still if they go overboard in removing carbon dioxide there wont be any plants.

I have a close friend who went to Pripyat years ago and they got a private guide (who also happened to work as a guard inside the exclusion area) who took them places ordinary tourists will never see. Some money changed hands and all that. In any case, during late spring and summer it's green and lush, full of trees and vegetation. He LITERALLY took ~1000 pictures and one of them was extra striking. It showed what looked like a thick forest with some weird poles sticking out of the ground. Those poles were big road lights and what is forest was once in 1986 a 4-lane highway.

Trees grows inside houses. Some trees grows on the upper levels and up towards the roof of ~10+ storey building.

Any chance some of those pics are online?
