Even though I will not currently support the Epic Store, the sale on these games is actually a little tempting. $10 each for Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls are some great launch prices but since I never played Detroit becomes Human I am not sure if $30 is a good price point but still if all 3 of these were are Steam for $50, I would have got that bundle.

Is Detroit as shit as Beyond Two Souls? Noble homeless everywhere?
I don't remember much tbh, but Beyond Two Souls is the worst of them and is not even close.
Fahrenheit is still the best just because how atmospheric and stupid at the same time it is.
Heavy Rain is 2nd best.
Detroit and beyond 2 souls are both very boring.. but I guess Detroit is better

I played Fahrenheit and the first half (or how much) was epic, until it all went a bit too bonkers and stupid.
Heavy rain i played a bit and it was a bit meh.
I guess i'll pirate it and see, maybe gf will want to play it since its story driven.
The only one I remember in it's entirety is Heavy Rain. Mainly because of some individual interesting scenes and all the hilarious bugs it spawned. It was an alright story with a slow start.
Years ago I played about 2 hours of Heavy Rain in my friends house with the PS3's Move controller and it was quite fun, I'm wondering how it holds up using just a gamepad. Are there any more engaging gameplay interactions down the line (not neceserily actiony) or it's just like watching a movie through whole game?

the only one i haven't played was beyond two souls mostly because heavy rain convinced me that just like indigo prophecy, david does not know how to end a story. he's great at starting one out, then it eventually tapers into shit
i did play detroit though and oh man it started out great, then tapered into shit
david even shot down this philosophy he was trying to sell with that stupid twist for the female lead towards the end. that stupid twist literally made her entire story arc pointless
detective guy was basically useless
and jesus guy was pretty boring and his whole rise up thing was pretty unbelievable
though one positive thing about his arc is choosing to not help out that annoying woman who's been trying to get into his pants haha
I love adventure and detective games but these games always felt a bit meh to me. They just can't capture my attention for too long and I can only play them in short bursts which is the exact opposite of what a good adventure/story based game should be like. They try to be too "special" for their own good.
