She's totally incompetent and she's on the brink of being fired as social insurance minister. Dumbass is what she is. She's not being fired for being anti-nuclear power though, she's possibly being fired for having fired the boss of our national insurance agency. Ironically it's the right + far right that are driving this particular issue (after they fucked up national insurance with tons of scandals involving terminal cancer patients being denied social health insurance and forced to work after the right wing government fucked up the entire system up until 2012 in order to do an enormous tax cut reform.
Personally I'm for modernizing nuclear power (modernized developed Thorium-based LFTR-reactors) as long as it's economically viable. If US hadn't been so horny for plutonium in the 60'ies, 70'ies, 80'ies and into the 90'ies we'd probably never have heard of Harrisburg, Chernobyl or Fukushima.
It's not 1980 anymore (there was a referendum in 1980 in Sweden after a long period of anti-nuclear power stuff from huge movements and bled into the politicians at the time). Soviet was crumbling by 1986, the communist system was not viable and as we can see in the show it fucked things up bad. There are other horror stories of dead toxic lakes from commie industry etc. that aren't as well known. And Fukushima? Way to go, build nuclear reactors along one of the most active fault lines in the world where they regularly have disasters like earthquakes, floods, tsunamis etc.
Even China is trying to get off coal power by investing in modern Thorium-based reactors (the second one will be a full LFTR which will basically be melt-down proof).

"far right" lol.. anyone who isn't a commie is "far right" (the moderate party in this case).. SVT and Swedish media brainwashing in the works... i honestly feel bad for you, and all others being this brainwashed.. it's just sad.
But yes, glad we can at least agree she's an absolute nut case..
i'm 100% pro nuclear power (and nuclear weapons, which ultimately just makes the world a calmer place).

I'm not voting for the moderate party, i just think it's wrong to lie about them being "far right". We don't even have a big far right party in Sweden, which we should be thankful of.
The moderate party is a very, very left leaning party apart from the economics side of their politics, which could be described as being right leaning. In e.g the US (and most other countries) a party like M would of course be described as left leaning, perhaps even far left. M are not even nationalists by any sense of the word. Far Right means that party should basically be fascists or nazi's.. it's just recently SVT has called them out like that, and directly people like you take it as some sort of fact and repeat like the dumb tools you have become. Sad.

And far right may include nazi-influenced parties (or outright neo-nazi parties like Golden Dawn in Greece and ultra-nationalist anti-immigrant parties like Jobbik in Hungary) but also includes Sweden Democrats since it's key issues are about anti-immigration and forced integration with a nationalistic slant.
Anyway, I'm ready to moderate myself and yourself from this thread about a tv series that has got nothing to do with the bickering of your warped world view.

I don't know exactly what that is. But I don't like activism of that kind. Demonstrations, mobs and organised activism are not my deal.
Calling out the commies and those who pander them is fine enough.* And voting against them.
