I remember the time I used to play Renegade online..
And then a new patch came out, so only people with a real cd-key could play.. Sad

Are there any ways to play the cracked version with no cd-key?

Seriously, buy the game if you want to play it online, 29$ for 12 more or less top quality games are cheap. BUY!

lol there are no 9 GB dvds, dvd9 is ca. 8,8 GB and dvd5 is 4,38 GB,
its all about the difference in the calculation with the base of 1000 and the base of 1024.
it can be tough splitting dvd9 console games into 2 dvd5s, but with pc games its a piece of cake. just move half of the files on another dvd and redirect here and there, voilà.

RA2 is the worst C&C game in my opinion, the first one is the best.

Scroll up ffs, I know the package includes nearly all the C&C games...

The thing is I was wondering why Elazul is having problem changing the resolution in the games

I´m not "having problems" with changing the Resolution, what i meant was that you can´t change it in the older games :/

Any problems playing via LAN in WinXP? Please post your test results here.
I will buy this baby if C&C1 multiplayer works without problems... Very Happy

how do you know this. did you buy it or have some other source. Just im thinking of getting it, and allowing a m8 to use my old generlals cdkey for some online play.
Will a scene release version work with some of my orignal cdkeys, like tib sun, and generals and RA2

Anyone know what protection is on the DVD then. Knowing EA it's safedisk but can anyone confirm.

lets hope for a release soon.
cheers

i dont have to prove anything, you have to prove it is dvd 9. the guy was only saying that i was 9 gigs big after the installation, so i based my statement on that. and he got the game, so i believe him.

just proof it is dvd 9, otherwise it AINT

Information about (nonworking) multiplayer via LAN with WinXP:
http://www.forumplanet.com/planetcnc/topic.asp?fid=1911&tid=1842636
(check out page 3 for a third party tool which enables LAN play with C&C1)

Also read
http://www.forumplanet.com/planetcnc/topic.asp?fid=1911&tid=1843175
and be sure to boycott C&C First Decade if you wanted to buy it to play via LAN: nothing has been fixed...

EA screwed the ppl again.
