It's Alpha yes.
But it's retarded to keep showing the game in it's current state. So many placeholders indeed, everything still feels so unfinished.
And in the video so many video cuts in a battle scene. I guess they want to hide something. And i don't mean that retard who played.

Ya I don't get it I have the original pc game still have the disk and box. It was one of the first PC games that got me into this whole PC gaming thing that and Half Life! I was really pleased to hear about this new one...Human Head and everything!! But it looks like shite even for an alpha build....hopefully they pull it out of the fire and forge something good...

as far as what i played from apha ... the fighting is as great as original Rune ... but i just hate the overall MP-centric direction they are taking with it Its like budget Conan Exiles with glorious Rune combat

This is the game experience they wanted the fans to play on Day 1? For this they needed the extra funds coming with the Epic exclusivity?
Absolutely heartbreaking seeing this IP revived, by the original studio no less, and then you see how it's being revived. I don't mind if it turns out a janky game, but that looks straight up just bad. To make matters worse, the EPIC cock hath been sucketh.
