While details regarding the forthcoming release’s length have yet to be fully confirmed, the title’s Game Director, Stig Asmussen, and Lucasfilm’s Steve Blank have explained that fans shouldn’t expect it to be a “five-hour game”.
“It’s not going to be a short game”, with its length running contrary to certain fans’ comments online that it would be “a five-hour game, after Vince [Zampella] announced that we’re going to be single-player only, and no microtransactions”.

Why does almost every Star Wars game suck ? Is it really that hard to make one good Star Wars game ? Are devs just looking for easy money ?
We haven't had one good Star Wars game since Battlefront 2 (not the new one)

damn that looks rough as hell , especially the animations and AI ( but well might be presentation godmode) ... gameplay could be fun souls-lite to with the usual AAA cinematicness ... but doesnt seem to be ready for November releae based on the animations
but well should have expected that t from singleplayer story driven game from "GaaS/lootbox addicted EA", i bet the new street mode for fifa has bigger budget on its own than whole Jedi

Looks cool, but i also don't think it'll look like that at release. That looks like a Sony ps4 game, but for some reason trash like EA don't really release games as good looking as them, they're always downgraded to the point of absurdity.

just add being able to cut limbs off like in the good old days and im a happy boy. looked "ok", graphics i couldn't care too much about (they're not great, but not an eye sore either), as long as gameplay is decent. I love the setting enough to probably enjoy it...

As expected, it looks like the bastardized streamlined tripe-y A console version of ye ol' classics. Straightforward cine-level design à la nuTomb Raider, a combat system that wants to mimic From's titles but ends up being like AssCreed Origins instead, no dismemberment, quick time events, apathetic AI and so on.
Doesn't quite give the impression of having anything special or imaginative that makes it stand out, it might be alright for a mindless isoride though.

Lol wtf is this combat? I thought we had a pretty good idea on how to do Lightsaber combat back in 2002-3! Yet we've been regressing since!
No dynamic burn marks?
Force Powers look tame as fuck. Where's flinging shit and people around?
Movement don't at all look mobile and agile. Uncharted 4 had much better movement than this.
You're playing a Jedi ffs, not some medieval knight in full plate armour.
Honestly, the only thing I liked was the dodge, that's better than Block + Dodge Roll combo of Souls games.
But then wtf are those blaster shots? Sure they're somehow slower than muskets in the movies, but they're not that slow. And if they slowed it down so people can go "Oh look, MOM, I just deflected the shot!", then rely on the Skill tree to make up for it for the casuals, don't dumb it down at the fundamental level.
Also, that map is a fucking joke.

Wait, so did they already say whether souls-lite means the actual souls mechanic in the sense of "if you die, you might end up losing some stuff you earned" - like Sekiro, Bloodborne, DS2/3? Or is it like in Darksiders 3, where you never lose anything if you die?
If it's the former case, then I'll gladly give this a shot (absolutely love the genre). If it's the latter case, then I'll almost certainly skip this.
