So apperantly there is "Early Access" on the EGS if you pre-order. . .nevermind the game already dropping on consoles. This shit is just silly, and I'm glad the damn thing has already been shot off to be cracked.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
Yeah, the numerous delays and rough pre-release gameplay videos weren't very reassuring, hopefully it won't be abandoned in a sad early Cthulhuian access state. Will likely still give the iso a try out of curiosity as soon as it emerges from the depths, the concept is definitely interesting (on paper).

well its EGgSy Access so by the time it releases on some real platform it might be patched

It's available on all platforms right now and you can get it in stores. It's only the PC where you have to "pre-order" to play it right now, which is dumb because it's out right now; like the 48-HR access bit makes no fucking sense at all.
Enjoying it so far. I like non-point and click adventure games and this has the right amount of flavor to make it interesting. The game though doesn't really do a good job of tutorializing you on what you're meant to do.
Despite the above I would suggest playing on Detective or Master difficulty if you want a fully immersive "detective" sim.
I'm trying to like this game since I love HP lovecraft shit. But it's quite clear they had to add the combat and leveling to check lists and make some bigwigs happy. It feels very very early access and the combat is so terrible, in their shoes I would just scrap it and make it an adventure/detective game solely and make better NPC's and 3D models instead.
what is the point of combat if it's barely even functional? Shooting has no feedback, enemies don't show any signs of taking damage and I'm avoiding infested areas in the beginning since I never have enough ammo to kill more than just one enemy.
the setting, story and dialogue is pretty good tho, the other aspects just hurt the game rather than add to it imo.
P.S Don't try to sneak it simply doesn't work. And enemies spawn right behind you out of thin air anyway.
Jesus, they actually put Trump references in a Lovecraftian horror games that takes place in the early 20th century.
There's a character that wants to build a wall to keep the Innsmouthers out, and 'make Oakmont great again."
Idiot developers put modern problems into every damn game. My theory is a lack of intellect, creativity and writing skill. Otherwise it's just a sliver of madness to have to express their thoughts and feelings in such an inappropriate way.
