Wait as much as you want... but you can already play it on your couch. My Steam link has no problem playing whatever is on my desktop. Be it MS, EA, Ubi, GoG, emulators...

why should it not work? you can stream anything with steamlink since ages, and steam directly supports those shabby dual shocks too and even if ms releases their new games (and some old) on steam i doubt they will rerelease any forza title

I have added it as the non Steam game (Xbox Pass) by using powershell command because there is no actual exe that can be added as any other app or game. When I start the game the resolution is a mess (my monitor is 1440p ultrawide and tv is LG OLED 4k). The game also doesnt detect the controllers so they work rather as a laggy mouse and keyboard.

As Ive said please let me know how it works exactly?

Hell I haven't even done half of what you did. I did not add it to steam (No need), just desktop mode and start application from said desktop. Boot it up and 'it just works'. I don't have any dual shock (sexbox controller) but last time I used one I didn't have any problems with Steam streaming. The way you describe it: Sounds like the shitty steam controller emulation is causing problems. Had that with a few emulators. So check the settings for controllers in Steam. You'll probably have to make a custom profile. I also don't have a resolution miss match but I would think it should be easily fixed by: DSR or Custom resolutions in the Nvidia control panel.

I actually ran into the same kind of problem with my DualShock 4, so it's not a steam controller issue. I haven't tried firing the game up from desktop, though, since it traditonally didn't work for me (most games loaded, but hanged up in the menu or something like that). I'll try later, who knows. Resolution stuff is some kind of a UWP / Windows Store bug that happens for some people (In my case it was like that, but now games often have problems keeping settings or adjust them at startup, which eliminated the problem at the cost of longer initial load time).

With that I mean the Steam's controller settings. Not the controller itself. That software does mess around with other platforms when Steam is running in the background. Even without going through Steam.

So DS4Windows is not an option? Works like a charm for my DS4 and since its presenting it as Xbox360 controller it should work fine with Forza no? I use PS4 controller on pc and it's just fine. And yeah I use DS4Windows for forza, because I need to 'hide' DS4 on it so forza thinks It's a shitbox controller. Internet - the place where Men are Men, Women are Men, and little girls are FBI agents.

Did you guys added it to the Steam to be able to play via Steam Link or do you use it as @Morphineus by streaming your desktop instead? just play forza 3, it's the better game anyway.
i still can't believe how they fucked this game up. thank god i could play it for 1-2 euros.
after 2-3 weeks everything is done and there is no point in keep on playing.

Yeah right play an ancient game instead of the new one. I wanted to try this in 4k maybe on a big tv for once. But nope they dont crack racing games they dont crack games that are a bit different for once.
And even 1 week to play would be enough....but we cant leech the shit.
