MIB International - 5/10

It was watchable, definitely not as bad as all the reviews said but the humor was almost always miss, Hemsworth got definitely shitty written character when he can do good comedy like Thor, they went Ghostbusters idiot.
The last act was stolen from Howard the Duck. The SJW wasn't as bad as I thought.
Overall a meh sci-fi movie.

The problem is the theme for this movie is done, you can't make anything new about it. Just let it rest for 30 years than make a softreboot for new generation while making the previous fans whine.

Personally, if a reboot of the franchise were to be done, i'd like to see it draw more inspiration from the original comic it was based on, which seems really dark and involves all sorts of supernatural elements as well.

MiBi : could have been a solid 8/10 if it had the original director from the previous ones and had the same crew and vfx like the previous ones. The cast and script works as an MiB movie. But it doesn't have the visual charm. 5/10

Odd Thomas: 7/10. Funny, good tense moments. Feefees worked. Overall fun indie thing.

This: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5442430/

Today I've seen Under the Silver Lake... I am not sure what to think of it yet but despite it's runtime, I was interested in what's going on. The atmosphere, mystery and the way it's shot. Unique film. I think I liked it a lot

Long Shot (2019) 4/10

Don't know what I was expecting since it starred Seth Rogen and Charlize Theron, but perhaps way more than what I actually got. Few measly laughs, but pleeeenty of cringy moments.
1 point for Charlize looking hot...

Innerspace (1987) 6,5/10

Been a long time since I saw this movie and decided to rewatch it. Fun adventue movie with heart. Some of the actors can be a bit over the top at points, but not too bad.

Interesting movie but I the ending didn't convince me. Maybe I didn't understand it well enough. I would recommend the movie but for scifi fans only.

New Godzilla:

What a comical, retarded script.. to think there are people out there that buy this storytelling, they could have saved it some by lessening the serious tone. Its on in the background while i work at least.

Fall asleep after 90 minutes. The script is meh, the dialogue is horrible, utterly fucking horrible, everybody is an idiot, constant exposition and repetition of exposition - that is Gojira, king of monsters, uuuuhhh! Mothra, queen of monsters.

Hobbs and Shaw - 6/10
Was expecting something more stupid, it was over the top at times but previous F&F was more fun - bonkers. The action wasn't shot in exciting way which was the biggest sin of the movie.

Terrible. Absolutely miserable. How they fucked up the Fast Furious formula so terribly bad Terrible script, very few fun moments, terrible dialog, Kevin Tard ( ).

This should have been Fast Furious + Mission Impossible. Instead, it's a slapstick comedy that is not funny.

Damn, now I need to see this movie!

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

The Witch Part 1 - The Subversion (2018) - 7/10

Catching up with my backlog I decided to give this one a spin. It's a South Korean action/thriller/horror/something and it was quite good. The second movie is due to be released next year. Pretty entertaining and goes bonkers (fights, gore etc.) in a good way towards the latter half of this ~2 hour movie.
