NSW isn't a group, it's a tag, Nintendo SWitch.
And yes it has, by group VENOM

Damn Fire Emblem Three Houses is addictive as fuck.
Planning to play for an hour tops, I ended up playing 8 hrs in one sitting.

Yeah, it's addictive as hell. Though when playing docked it really heats up the Switch.
Three Houses made getting a Switch worth it haha. I got it for Octopath Traveler but that turned out to be shit and not the next SaGa.
Very minor spoilers below:
My only issue with Three Houses so far is that the first half of the game is over too soon. Story wise, things could have been made more impactful if they made that bit longer since at that point I still had a hard time remembering who was who. Though I suppose the design for multiple playthroughs probably factored into the decision to shorten the first half of the game, but still, I feel like it wouldn't have hurt to give it another year just to make the story stuff more impactful.
Black Eagle story was pretty on the nose about stuff that I was expecting it to be a diversion but nope haha.
I just went with BE because it was first on the list to choose, but since I was pretty anal about talking to everyone every month, it turns out I ended up going down the "secret" route, so I deliberately skipped that month to go with the default route, as I'll probably do that secret route last.

I picked the alliance, found the leader more interesting than the other two, but I will definitely play them afterwards.
Just reached chapter 6 on hard + classic, so far the difficulty is just fine, normal must be too easy.
Only now found out that you can use retreat during battle to restart it while keeping the exp, I didn't know that grinding was possible before. It will come in handy later I am sure.

How are you two playing Fire Emblem? Docked or handheld?
I've not started it yet, but imagine it could be quite straining on the eyes in handheld mode.

Docked. I don't really play the switch handheld as it's not comfortable with my hand going numb and stuff, and for games that have that dynamic resolution thing, it means jaggies galore

I only play handheld when I m lying down, then I can put the switch on my chest in front of me and the joycons separately in each hand lying flat on the bed. Basically sleeping position, that's why I like to use the joycons separately. Mainly I play docked though as well.

Yea I hate it when people bring up that ""argument"", one only needs to use the amazing Doom port as an example of what can be done. There is no excuse for this.

The """"amazing"""" Doom port is also meh. Very low resolution. But agree, it's the least offending one.

Yeah problem is usually dev just export their Unity/UE4 project to the Nintendo switch sdk and HOPE that it works... if it doesnt work as good as they want, they drop the resolution to 320x240. Then it finally reaches 29.999 fps, so why not ?

You are right, the res is really low, but considering the hardware it's running on and especially the state of all the other ... ports (out of lack for a more precise term), it was a good effort.

Yeah honestly if I'd be assured that all ports were "as good" as DOOM it'd be really happy...
Their Wolf Youngblood port is a bit lame though but.. still miles above most crap released out there. I guess DOOM Eternal will be..... eternally downgraded but still better than the random unity project exported for nintendo switch...

In the ports I play the loading is normally the killer.
PC: i7-4790k @ 4.4, 32GB @ 2400, Nvidia 1080TI FE, 2 TB Crucial MX500 SSD
Nintendo Switch SX OS Pro / PS4 Pro 5.05 Hen/Mira / PS3 Modded / Wii Modded / 360 Pre-Wave4 mod

The game is like fucking crack and I can't stop playing it till now.
Still on my first playthrough, can you tell me what aspects are carried over to NG+, so I know what things I don't need to stress about?
Also are there several paths for every single house later on and are these just based on decisions near the end, or a big chunk of the campaign that differentiates?

For NG+ your statue level gets carried over and whatever renown you have.
Your skill levels are not carried over completely, but you are able to spend renown to get it back up to whatever level you previously had it.
So if in the last game Axe was at B+, you can spend 1000 renown to go from E to D, and all the way to B+. If Faith was E in the last game, you won't be able to level it up.
Only Black Eagles appear to have a different path, and it branches out towards the end of the part 1.
There are however a lot more paralogue battles that add to the story but these need getting proper support levels and recruiting students from other houses as some of the part 2 paralogues will only trigger if you have a student from your house and a student from some other house though so far I've only run into the Caspar-Mercedes one in part 2. In part 1 those still come up normally like with Ingrid-Dorothea.
So yeah, basically renown is what matters. Oh also you can bring up Professor levels with renown to whatever level you managed to get previously.
You can change gender / name / birthday in NG+ as it does start from the very beginning.
So yeah, this was meant for mutliple playthroughs with the NG+ renown stuff being in place to help get those other students into the house as I suspect there's a lot more paralogues hidden away.
But yeah, great game, though wish it were longer, or at least part 1 anyway. Like let me chill at school for a year before shit starts happening.
Will probably finish up my 3rd playthrough then park the game for a bit before I do the 4th route. Want to wait and see what the expansion is all about, like if it adds content to the base game or if it's another route or whatever. Though unsure if there's an expansion, but I think they were selling an expansion pass and not a season pass.

So the most sensible thing at the beginning of Ng+ would be first using reknown for my prof level, so that I have more actions available as early as possible?

Yep, seems to be the best thing to do provided you have the renown.

What secret route? I saw on another forum that the Black Eagle route that most people will get is not the only mid-story cliffhanger you can obtain.
Also my run to the time skip was like 45-50 hours. That. . .did not feel short at all (and this is playing the game everyday since Wednesday of last week).

Well not really a secret as you only really get the church route if you don't bother getting support levels up and exploring.
By short I meant story content wise. The playtime isn't an issue, but how quick things go to shit is. I'd have preferred a slower start that gives you more story events to get to know the players, as well as allow more bonding time with papa jeralt and the other characters.
But as I said, they probably cut it short due to having multiple routes, since it's already going to be a 200 hour plus game, though it only weakens things story wise because I don't really case if Spoiler: | sothis or jeralt or whoever dies |
