Is that why there is so much motion blur ? It's fucking terrible i seriously can't play like this, also high and medium look almost identical for most of the demanding settings like SSR and VL but there is a huge performance impact: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/guides/control-graphics-and-performance-guide/#control-screen-space-reflections-quality no clue about RT but it runs allright on my 1070 so far on medium.

Screenshots are misleading. RTX on especially with DLSS looks like a.. Because there is way too much noise. (I am not talking about film grain which I turned off) Noise level becomes acceptable when you stop and wait a bit, similar to path tracers around but in motion it is terrible.

Disable "Ray Traced Indirect Diffuse Lighting"

Also gives a decent boost to FPS

It's basically just ray traced ambient occlusion but it's not de-noised very well on lower resolutions (or when using DLSS)

Very good game, but optimization is not good Wink

Played on Asus TUF Gaming and Quantum Break and other games runs much better.

Because of insane motion blur, 60 fps is a must. That's why I needed to use 1080p as internal resolution (1440p screen) and set SSR and VL to medium to have 60 fps otherwise it feels terrible with that blur like you said.

Best art direction (and execution), that I have seen in a game yet. Love the atmosphere and storytelling also.

Played around 2 hours thus far. Really awesome game!

Damn son, good driver

Thanks for the info. Will try it out

Edit: Nevermind, no FPS boost whatsoever.

I take it you had never installed the famed 436.02 "Gamescom" driver?

So far it's not bad, the plot is intriguing.

Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty

Played it for two hours and liked it very much for now. Performance deffinitely needs improving, but other than that it's very good. With my PC I'm getting around 90 fps with everything on max, without RTX shit, on 1080p. With DLSS is around 130.

Getting some stuttering and long loading times in DX11 mode the first conversation with the janitor allrdy hangs 1 or 2 times for a second, DX12 mode is completely fine though really smooth very weird.

Epicstore exclusivity and heaviliy Turing optimized plus bad Non-RTX reflections probably due to Nvidia involvement make this a definitive Isodemo for me. Since they already seem to have gotten all that sweet money and support from EpicStore and Nvidia.

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

nvidiaProfileInspector works just as well i recommend limiter mode v2 - force off with this game gives me the same perfect frame times as rivatuner but slightly less input lag.

With everything maxed out at 1080p including ray tracing the game runs at about 50fps most of time with drops to 35. No stuttering or any issues. It looks very good but yeah... on 1440p the framerate is around 32 fps and on 4k it's 16fps. The game still looks good even at 1080p. No jaggies at all but some might think it's too soft.

Why you can't set the render resolution to 1440p when DLSS in on? The max setting is 1706x960 with DLSS on.

Performance here on 3440x1440 after completing the tutorial at the beginning and a little bit pass the intro I get between 60 and 85 with everything maxed out, RTX and shit... no DLSS

But for some reason I can't put screen space reflections to high, it's on medium by default and grayed out.
