Whats with all these timed sidequests that take you out of the action? Like you‘re in a hurry to find this person but suddenly you have 20 mins left to complete this other sidequest a random location. The last one I got was at a place I never even saw before. So I just didnt go and failed the sidequest. I dont like failing quests.
i started to ignore them too after 3 or 4.. i wouldnt call them sidequests, more l ike random activities. Kinda pointless imho.
The posted DLC unlock above gave me an idea. So now I present Quantum Vaseline removal patch for the game (tested to work perfectly on Control-HOODLUM).
The RenderVectorBlur variable is responsible for camera motion blur. No need to use the injection DLL patch from Steam forums anymore and it works under DX12 too.
Anyone can upload the hexed .dlls somewhere for the noobs like me?
From my testing and after watching digital foundry video, these are the settings with 2070 that yield almost 100% stable 58fps (playing on a 40-60hz freesync monitor so I am using 58fps as max in rtss to stay in freesync range).
RT: only both RT transparent settings turned ON. gi, contact shadows and debris reflections are all nice but less noticeable and cost a lot. SSAO does good job instead of global gi.
All other settings generally to max aside from: volumetric to medium since high does nothing more. Global reflections to medium.. although there is no difference with it set to off, medium or high since rt overrides it ?
Game is fantastic! I love the atmosphere, characters, combat and of course destruction!

anyone else has big loading times on dx11? game loads like in half a minute including when you die and sometimes 1-2sec freezes in game but framerate is very smooth vs on dx12 where game loads in like 2 sec with no freezes but framerate feels more choppy.
Lip syncing here is terrible, specially during cutscenes... Is it only me ? Maybe because I play it in french ? but I don't think so and seems like a bug because voices are like 2 sec ahead of their lips. Unless they forgot to lipsync other languages ?

Finished the voyage into the Remedian hallucinogenic insanity as well, I'm hanging between admiration for the effort and the awkward sensation of not having accomplished anything worthwhile.
Was it memorable? Yes..but also no. Was it fun to play? Yes..no...maybe. Was it..J̴e̸s̵s̴e̷ ̴w̵h̸a̸t̸ ̷a̷r̶e̵ ̸y̷o̸u̴ ̸d̶o̶i̴n̷g ȁ̴̡̋̃̎́re ̷̢̤͙̽̒̒̑̒̊̀ý̶͓̙̼̠̞͍̗͕̰oṵ̵̟̏͆̆̑̄̂͊͜ ̴̭̬͍̘̮̦̼͓̯̿̿̚ͅş̴͔͉͚͓̟̩̻̾̈̄̀͠t̸̛̯̝̟̿͋̈i̵̩̩̯͇̼̭̒̇͑͌ll ̶̧̡͙̖͇͈̹̲̓̾ẅ̶̨͙͚͚̠̠͔́̐͠ỉ̶͓̞̙͔̼̯ţ̷̨̼͍̘̗͕̮̮̘̊̇̎̾̈́̄͝h̷̡̖͔͆̄̈́͗̎̒ ̸̢͕͈̫̹͖̙̼̟͉̍̎͋̐͛̚̚m̷͔̉̍͒̿̈́͘͝e?
The game tries to break walls and often does it successfully, but at the same time it's stuck in a repetitive gameplay loop where encounters are way too drawn-out and the cleverness in terms of morphing level design alternates evident blandness. Some bits work wonderfully with the atmosphere that blends with the action (loved The Maze for instance), others feel like pseudo-Ubichore. There's a fine line that separates genuine brilliance from pretentiousness, and the main story (or whatever that was ) does cross it quite a few times in my opinion.
Still, despite everything, I would be a lying Hissmen if I said that I didn't enjoy the experience as a whole. At least it was something original-ish that didn't make me feel like passively watching a movie whilst resorting on popamole systems (yes QB you lazy ass, I'm looking at you), a step into the right direction that could have been amazing but just preferred to live the perkele ~7/10 life.

What I meant is it's more convenient to just shoot them a few more times and kill them instead of standing still at one place trying to charm them.
It is pointless for me. Pierce with a Damage while aiming increase mod is 1 shot kill for most of the enemies im encountering so far. I call it "Bad mofo"

Thats what I‘m going to do aswell. In the middle of a fight -> Bureau Alert! Takes you right out of the flow. Its a bad system imo.
"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."
I couldn't get into it at first, but it grows on me the more I play. Action gets pretty cool once you unlock enough stuff, though the RPG elements (mods and so on) are pretty pointless.
BTW, for those of you with Nvidia RTX cards, DLSS plus Nvidia Ansel Sharpening is an interesting combo. You have to find the right value, otherwise the game gets a bit aliased, but on my 1080p monitor the end result is very solid image quality (better than base 1080p) with nearly twice the FPS at times, and all RTX bells and whistles enabled. Very cool.
From I've read this game has the best DLSS implementation so far, really helps with the framerate without introducing obvious upscaling artifacts. I think Digital Foundry will cover it in the future, but for now:

I always use NVIDIA driver slimming utility though before installing nvidia drivers .. to get rid of all the crap and spyware.. That's why I was asking earlier whether I need crapforce experience for dlss to work
PS Nevermind..it looks like it couldn't be enabled coz I didn't install ngx core package from nvidia drivers.
