havent played 2 or 3, only 1 back when it was released on pc, i do want to play them on xenia once they sort out the remaining bugs. or maybe they will remaster them for pc since they are bringing halo now

Yes I have PC's around the house!! I have my PC which is in the description. Beside that one is a refurb i7-2600 with 16GB and a 1050ti and the one in the family room that has Netflix and other assorted games on? Why you don't have those? LOL

Not fore me it ran perfectly fine with all on Ultra. One of the best optimized games in a while at least on my PC.

It means you had the bypass version of the game before and it created special credential files on your system, which prevents the crack from working.
To fix it, search for “Credential Manager” in your Windows search bar, open it, navigate to “Generic Credentials” section and delete all creds starting with Xbl*. Most probably, your bypass version will stop working after that, but CODEX crack will work.

Thank you very much! That was the problem. I have the paid Gears5 from steam on the PC I installed it on? I mainly grabbed the CODEX to put it on the other PC's I have. I will give that a try. Thanks again for your time!!

I just copied the Gears5 folder onto an external HD and put it on 2 other PC's and it works fine! My PC has the legit paid for copy. I didn't want to delete the Xbl* lines off the legit install. You're right it could mess shit up!!

finished and was alright, kinda ended unexpectedly since the story just got going...
act 2 with the snow enviroment is the best and dosent matter if the "map" is empty, its supposed to have character developing between missions.
the story is meh after act 2 and what felt important got a back seat
what i hated is reloading mechanics, maybe on controller you get a vibration on the sweet spot but on keyboard you have to always look at the corner and your screen which is distracting. also robot upgraders are pointless and the most important one is shock. would have prefere weapon upgrades instead using the same weapons all game.

 find out at the end of the game. My cutscenes were out of sync like crazy and i read that you just need to uninstall HDtexture for a fix

Yea the game sometimes stuttered pretty hard with the ultra textures on my rig as well. You'd think a RTX 2070 with 8gb of vram would be enough. Game worked perfectly fine without it.
