Or pay them to do RDR1 in the RDR2 engine as an expansion because that's probably the only way the SP game is going to be getting any new content.

It'll still use the Rockstar Launcher to play so I guess any of the stores that aren't Epic works if you want to buy it.
Will probably wait for it to get on Steam just so any bugs / performance stuff hopefully gets squashed by then.
Looking forward to finally aiming with the mouse.

Rockstar is smart and knows they would lose money in the long run if they were tied to Epic for 6 months to 1 year and I am sure Sweeney couldn't pony up enough cash to swing that sort of deal for this game. The Steam release date being December will mean before Christmas which is good but I am not sure if I want to pay full price for this since Rockstar have shown they will not have any single player DLC and all my friends own this on PS4 so that means no Red Dead Online unless I want to run with randoms and if it is anything like GTA Online was on PC that is a big pass.

glad i decided to wait, i've only played it for like 5-6h.. aiming will be a lot better.
looking forward to see what's changed with PC version, probably better view distance etc, the usual stuff...
