For the MS Store version the path should be:

Everything on High runs good, 60 FPS on an RX 580 and Ryzen 1600x. (I locked it to 60 so probably runs higher). Some occasional stutter when loading an area. Very High goes 55-60 usually, with drops to 52 from time to time. Ultra I didn't try long enough. I only switched to see how it looked and compared.
Tbh the difference between High and Ultra.... well I didn't see any.

https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/The_Outer_Worlds

Is the game heavy on dialogues ? I get a snorefest at these types of games
Yeah, well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

I don't , that's why i'm asking
Rarely finish one.
Depends on how the dialogues/voices are written and how necessary they are in the context of the quests.
Im too old to sit and read at the screen pointless dialogues . I did that enough in my youth

It's an Obsidian game. Dialogue is their whole bread and butter.

Unless it's hidden by ancient space magic can't you just launch the game, open the task manager and right click on the process, Open file location?

I stopped at 11 hours, 5 minutes. Had to take a break. Really fun and pretty funny so far. I completed a total of 34 missions, including 4 story missions.

Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty

That doesn't work with the Windows Store apps as I tried it again just now with the game to double check and the process doesn't allow you to open file location as nothing happens when you click open file location. It shows that it is running 2 different processes The Outer Worlds and TheOuterWorlds when you expand the details in Task Manager but neither allow you to go to the file locations.

Ehh, game runs fine 99% of the time (80-90fps on Very High) but there are spots in the maps when the fps suddenly drops heavly and the whole game hitches for 1s - which is fucking annoying and leaves me in no mood to play it. Fuck this shit.

Supernova is tedious. The lack of (exit) save is not friendly with my game time schedule. Can't really afford to lose 30 minutes (or more) just because I want to experiment something...
Surely a next patch will change some things.

Cute. Combat is teh weakest point, combat in Fallout is more fun. DOn't feel the shotgun, don't feel the weapons, don't feel the enemies, pretty wooden.

They aren't going to patch out SuperNova. Why choose that setting if you know you aren't going to be able to risk having to fast travel back and retread your steps?

This is very Fallouty. Dialogue and story is leaning more into the comedic genre compared to FO, otherwise the mechanics are very similar.

After 2,5 hours I like it, but it's not great. The RPG aspects are good, but combat is bad. I hope it'll improve with better weapons. I think it looks just about average on ultra, but I never liked this cartoony style in games.

It's not the framerate it just stutters.
