I couldn't finish it. It was really boring.

Glad I did not waste my bandwidth. I was bored just watching the trailer..

Philadelphia (1993) 7.5/10

Good ol' 90s movie about the social issues of homosexuality and HIV, handled realistically without today's overbearing virtue signalling. Great cast, Denzel Washington and Tom Hanks. Had a very memorable scene (classical music piece). Sadly, the ending is nothing deep or fulfilling or unexpected. It keeps this from being a classic.

I'd have a really hard time taking the movie seriously after South Park making so many jokes about it, especially the music.. i remember thinking it was "ok" when it was new though.

The linear scale is not really labeled correctly.

3-4 is mediocre? As the name implies, it has to do with the median, so 4-6 would be a more suitable category. On the other hand, what is "average" Is the average the equal to the median? I'm not sure, it depends on the history of the subject.

I guess the reason that we moved culturally to the logarithmic scale and why we try to optimize for it, is because there is too much competition in all fields. Too many films, too many television series, too mange games, too many repairmen ("repairpersonas" hurr). And we only have so much attention to give—we always want the best—so we only look for the nines and the tens.

Joker 8/10

Very good movie, Joaquin Phoenix is amazing and sold it for me.
I liked how he 'put a smile' on Bruce's face Very Happy Surely that was a homage to Heath Ledger's Joker.
If only his speech at the end were better ("everyone is so mean to each other"). It fell really flat and was, at that point, also very uncharacteristic (especially with what comes right after Laughing )

Good movie! Takes place in gas station. That chick put on some performance. Felt so bad for her in beginning, then she turned into a total slut and lunatic..Recommended!

Joker Awesome/10

Damn, this was a heavy movie, loved the artsy, dark, oppressive mood. And the backstory relating to the mental illness. Also, it is heavily character-centric, which I love, are there scenes without the protagonist?

I heard they are making a sequel. It is impossible to follow this up properly.

EDIT: Also, the violence was sudden and sparse, so it had an amplified effect.

Angel Has Fallen—Not as retarded as I thought/10 (6.5/10)

Much better than the previous one. Everyone looks so fucking old and terrible. Even Freeman, which supposedly doesn’t age. I was expecting a 90 min cheapola crap shot in Bulgaria, but it’s better than that—it’s a 120 min somewhat-cheapola crap. Laughing Story is really stupid, but it’s shot OK, edited OK and transcends the usual Bulgaria-shot flicks (like the predecessor London).

Maybe it's the last in the series and they though that a bit more effort is needed? Very Happy

Good movie! Definitely still never want to run 26 miles..However, while watching it I did.. Crude jokes, raunchy, good acting, well paced. Recommend.

Typical horror movie of students during Halloween getting butchered (it reminded me of Scream without the pastiche irony which made Scream a better movie). Some nice kill scenes. If you have nothing else to do and have a beer and some popcorn it's okay.
