The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
Yea same, runs fine on Epic, but there are brutal drops from time to time for no reason.
Edit:
Anyone else having problem with the controller? XboxOne controller and it bugs out. Some buttons don't work properly. In game start/pause button doesn't work only slight flashes. In menus the back (B) button doesn't work properly. When it bugs out it seems to be switching between keyboard and game pad controls. Running the game as non steam game fixes it and it works like charm with both DS4 and XboxOne controllers.

I had to turn off the controller, restart, then it worked (for some odd reason). The issue was exactly the same.
Another thing that oddly worked was turning on a second controller. The first was still fucked but the second worked fine
Weird stuff indeed. Sadly this doesn't help here. Switching on and off fixes it for brief moment then it fucks up again. Second controller makes it even more bugged. Well at least Steam native support is working until they patch it out.

the first thing you see when you enter the game is a warning about how while it is playable with mouse and keyboard, pad is recomended. You just now they fucked up the controls. Sure enough, they did. I dont really know how you put a game close to 2020 that feels like an early port of some ps2 third person game where they still strugle with how to design the genre.
Im mean, raw input and the day is saved. How is that beyond seasoned game devs ?
Any TLDR; on the game?
rpg stuff? customization of gear? gear collecting?
I watched 5 minutes from some streamer and got bored :I (he just wall ran over to some enemies, killed them with lightsaber, but the combat seemed just, dodge the first attack and swing the blade 3 times)

I played about an hour and a half yesterday. Seems fun, very similar to DS (or Sekiro) and works very well with K+M. Levels are open and you can explore a lot,
but some parts are just unreachable as you simply do not have to the ability to progress. There are tons of customization, your ship, clothing, your droid,
and lightsaber has 4 options, but all of it looks like visual customization only. Performance is OK, it set everything to epic at 1080p (my screen resolution)
which gives me around 100 fps (on RX 5700XT), but there are some dips that look like loading so I will maybe try to tune it a bit or at least set a lower cap.

it means he doesnt know what he's talking about. Its no biggie. Most people who play games cant tell 60 frames from 30, cant tell when the game is droping frames. He must be one of those or not too demanding for pitch perfect controls.
The game is very playable but it emulates sticks. Its not raw input. And theres this weird way the camera moves where its disconnected from the character, a bit like how souls games are. You have a small area in the center where you can move the character left, right or doing small circles and the camera wont move with him, it stays fixed. This gives a weird feeling to the controls.
And i feel he's not snappy enough when changing directions quickly, there's this small delay and animation playout when you want to switch directions fast.
These are aspects that will impact every player differently, but bottom line is there isnt raw input in the game, but stick emulation
That fucking toad mini boss in the cave from the first map was real mofo. Found it before the healing and couldn't force myself to continue before i kill it. Finally cheesed it with hit and dodge from the entrance of the cave. Also i think they though people might do that so if you take too much time camping its health resets

You can find a way above the frog's area and drop down on its head which takes half of its health.
