That was quite a presentation, I will give it that. But there were so many red flags in there it's not even funny.
Stuff like that one scene where the monster shoots icy breath over the party, and one shield dude gets in the way to block for 2 behind him, while one in the back pulls up another from nearly falling in a hole... that kind of shit NEVER translates well into gameplay, EVER.
I am super intrigued and curious at the same time though as those bits where one member is cut off and solving movement style puzzles for the rest of his party. I wonder when he gets to rejoin, etc.
Graphics and gameplay looked amazing though! High hopes for this one, hopefully an english release someday and that it turns out as amazing as it appears (usually doesn't tho..)
Well my experience with Korean MMO's... don't bother. Look nice are fun for a little while but it will always turn into a carpal tunnel syndrome simulator with stupid paymechanics.

Yah.. but I meant from a gameplay perspective... I see that they've used the term.
But it looks more like a Guild Wars than a WoW. If they instance off sections of the game for a 4 man party Diablo style, I'd hardly consider it an "MMO" in the traditional sense, which is what it looks like everyone in this thread keeps saying as if it were some sort of negative.
I guess a better question I should have asked is, have you guys seen a screenshot or a video that demonstrates this game is more an MMO, ie. 340982423 people on the same screen.
Yeah, if it's a Diablo-alike, or even Path of Exile, then I wouldn't call it MMO either. Hell, I don't even consider games like Guild Wars to be MMO. Too heavily instanced and you don't see many running around except in the hubs.
btw they finally said last week that the game is coming to europe as well (formally only announced for korea). but dont expect it before the end of 2015, korean beta test should be ready in spring
I'm surprised this hasn't gotten much publicity. The game looks stunning. But a Korean MMO makes me think grind fest. If not, however, the gameplay looks very fun. Until I saw it in that PC Gamer article yesterday, I'd never heard of this.
Supposedly it is coming to the West this year, but hmm.. it's a Korean MMO and those are infamous for their grinding and p2w nature. So I guess that's why many aren't exactly cheering all that hard right now.
kinda funny noone is talking about this game (or maybe there is another thread to it?), but recent reviews are overwhelmingly positive. And it is possible to play english version of open beta which won't be wiped using russian vpn.
It's F2P (and kinda p2w as always with korean mmos) and there is no official english release planned so of course you don't see a lot of ppl talk about it.
but there is a workaround for that now. And there is a video where guy explains how this game is not p2w and he prays to gods it won't be like that It depends on which western publisher will put hands on it. And it will be released in EU/NA, most likely in 2020 (at least there are some hints at that)
But until then it is possible to play it without any restrictions albeit russian vpn.
2020 Japan release , maybe 2021 to West. You can play without any problem russian version with english patch. Ping it s 40 with Exitlag, so no problem with lag. Game it s not p2w yet. You can make lvl 50 in few days and after that game it s really opening. All classes are fun to play, the combat and spell effects are really spectacular and the endgame is massive... Imo it s worth having a look.
