Looks like bonds era is over. Stronk wamen who break down every now and then for dramatic moments and the sads who are vulnerable when it suits the plot and not the character are the future :/
looks like a typical bond movie, don't know how this should end a franchise or what else bullshit you guys talk about.
im not into bond that much, but it seems like a fun movie, if you like spy-action movies.
Imagine a rebooted Spiderman. A realistic dark dark Spiderman. Really good mind you. At least the first movie. But then people complain that the villain isn't sinister classic enough. That the gadgets are nonexistent or not fun enough. It's just a man in a suit swinging about town stopping rape crimes, gruesome murders while fighting a realistic kingpin. Then they decide to return to the classic to get more people interested. The real real fans. So they keep the realism, but add cartoony villains. Fun toys that don't fit the tone. Classic characters that can't fit in this real world they built. Just to bring in more monies. Make it work. Mysterio wouldn't work in mcu. But mysterio with holograms and drones does work.
Apart from casino Royale. Which was very grounded and very good. Every bond after that tried to go back to its campy roots with a campy, big bad villain. Fancy toys. But keeping the seriousness. It doesn't fit. It feels comical with a serious background. Should have stayed ala casino royalle and kept it grounded. Bond doesn't need gadgets, or expensive cars. He needs to be suave, charming and deadly. This bond is broken, aged, retired, weak, compared to what he was in casino Royale. Like... Nope.
And this one looks like they have a stronk wamen ready to replace him. Lol. Like ok... Do that... But do it at the beginning of the movie... Kill Craig... And have her have her debut. Not introduce a character that can take out Craig... Like... No. It doesn't show balls. It shows stupidity. Fish out of water to finish a deadly mission. Will she do it. Will she fail. Is she capable enough to do it. Not fresh out of the boat, guns blazing. BITCH I DON'T KNOW YOU!

Not exactly. She did a cover of it in recent years, after she became famous with the above song from MGS V, but she's not the original singer who sang it in the 2004 game. That would be Cynthia Harrell.
The cover isn't as good as the original, it misses some of the most catchy instruments and tempo is more casual? like less dramatic? (I'm not a music person) and her performance follows suit.
Yeah, Snake Eater (original) is also a genuine Bond-worthy song, absolutely.
