The only way for this to be interesting is for the cars to have weapons like in Twisted Metal. I don't see how else they gonna make people play this otherwise even if cars get totaled.

Never played Destruction Derby, Wreckfest or the likes. Just watched some videos. It seems cool for like an hour or two and that's all. But people get hooked to so many weird games. Maybe this one will be some hidden success. I wouldn't care at all but if this mode turns into profit then even more games will follow the BR craziness.

That is exactly what Destruction Derby was, a bit of fun. Most didn't play it for hours on end. Just a game you popped in once in a while to have fun. It being rather new back in the days also helps with that. Nowadays a lot of games fall into: 'been there, done that'.
Has anyone managed to make this game work with Steam and Steam Link wirelessly? (Meaning that my bluetooth controllers are paired with Apple TV instead of my PC)
Adding game to the Steam with eg. UWPHok is not an issue but the resolution and controls on my TV are a mess.

WTF is with the fitgirl repack!?!?! I left it for 40 mins and it just progressed 4%?! And says I have 12 hours left to finish... I know my poor 6600k is getting super old but that's ridiculous. I expected 2-3 hours max. Don't know if I should leave it during the night because I feel like it's gonna melt my CPU and HDD.
I first tried with some ElAmigos repack that took 30 mins to install but there was no exe to start the game. It's supposed to be on the Start menu but all there was was the... icon image. Turning off the win defender and antivirus was the same.
Guess I'll have to just pay that 1$ for the Microsoft pass like all the normal people but not sure how's that gonna work with a yar Windows?
Anyway. How the fuck does this thing run?! I gave up trying to wait for 13-16 hours for the stupid fitgirl repack to install and deleted it. Now I tried some new repacks from xatab and it's similar issue to the ElAmigos - when I click on the exe it only opens me the game icon ( ) .. I guess it's something to do with the Windows stopping the cracked exe from launching but the Win defender and firewall are disabled and stopped internet but still the same shit

That "game icon" that shows up every time I booted the game was actually THE GAME loading screen.
But because it took about 3-4 minutes to launch the game I thought it was just an image...
Now I played for about 2 hours and honestly didn't like it at first but after turning off all of the stupid assist driving (what kind of people even use that...) it became much better to drive. Must be because of the Premium Edition that I already have some S2 cars Like Koenigsegg and McLaren and 800k C (credits? coins? corns?). Don't know even if I need other cars. This kinda kills the thrill to play.
Is there a way to disable those annoying fucks who point out to new races when I open the map? Damn, they are fucking annoying and I swear I am starting to like the game but those retards ,Apex and Kiera or whatever their stupid names are, are pissing me off and almost make me Alt+F4 and delete the whole shit. Every fucking time I finish something and open the map they are like "Hey I want to suck your cock, come to these places". Can't even skip that.
Can't find anything in the options about that, tried "Notifications" but that only turned off the messages when I am in a speed zone etc but I like to see those. Disabling them or delete every single file with them from the game will be great, thanks in advance.
Is that doing the seasonal championships (campaign?)? Will they forever decay in the void of thousand tortures once I finish those? Or will they still come back to tell me I have new Speed Cam challenges after every 1 star.

I'm guessing because Microsoft has only just recently started their push for putting first party titles on Steam, the biggest being Halo MCC. I'm sure the Forza series will come eventually
