Good ending but pretty much entire S4 was pretty shitty.

Aaand finished it. Some impeccable directing this season (that dialogue free episode??), but it did nothing to finally convince me of Esmail's plotting skills.
The final twist feels shoe horned (it only works if you accept to ignore all the contradictions because "he forgot" (how convenient)) and 4 seasons later I still can't say the show has made it clear WTF is even the impact of 5/9, e-coin, the reversal, etc. How much has the world changed?
And let's just not get into Whiterose and her plans. Big lol there how they skipped everything about it.
Also Wellick. Lulz. It feels like after s1 he's only been doing cameos here and there.
But really, really, really great directing. Wish the dude could plot half as good as he directs.

Maybe cause he only wanted one or two seasons and they forced him to go all out and plot more. 1 2 3 seemed planned out. Rest felt needed to be there cause if he don't do it someone else will and his vision will be jeopardized.

so I don't think so.
But, I always thought the plotting of the show sucked, with maybe season 1 being an exception. For me, it's not a season 4 development.

Phenomenal ending to a great season and very good show overall. The last few episodes hit me right through the feels.
