they dont give a shit about the franchise, otherwise they would release a hd remaster of porsche, which surely would sell more than all titles combined in last 4-5 years.
And yeah, I somehow found it worse than Payback. Not fun to even derp around.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things donโt always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things donโt always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
Well I've played it about 19 hours and I can say it's copy/pasted forza horizon with crappier driving.
Kind of wish they'd just "stick to the formula" and not copy forza, but it's EA so that might be hoping too much.
I mean even Payback had some aspects of Horizon in it, but this time they've gone full out and the line between the two is getting thinner.
It's not bad, but I was hoping for more and they don't have to add those cops to evey NFS just because people liked Most Wanted.
Nice, just reached level cap via Origins Basic (got a month free)
As far as I know, the crack only works for the release version, your saves from current may not be compatible since you'll need to download the initial release. Still, worth a try eh?

Yeah, read a bit on rin. Ill try first, if it doesnt work ill get DOI rls.
Cant aruge with that... and the performance is bad compared to how the game looks. The story also sucks... and in my opinion we dont really need in dept stories with lots of cutscenes in pure (street)racing games.
Its somewhat fun at times, but when it comes to updgrades and so, this doesnt really bring anything new to the genre.
IMO Need For Speed hasn't been good since Underground 2/Most Wanted 2005/Carbon (I know most disliked it but I enjoyed Carbon) -- though admittedly I did get some enjoyment out of Payback, even though it paled in comparison to Most Wanted (the ORIGINAL Most Wanted, not the 2012 one)
NFS hasn't been good (on PC) since NFS Porsche. The yo yo yo gangsta yo yo ba dum dum dum durrudurrurrum get low get low nitro bwooooosshhhhh were major crapola. Especially if you try to play it today, you see how exactly the same it is as the modern ones, and how equally garbage they are.
NFS Shift 1 & 2 were really good. From the same developer as Project Cars.
For amazing great semi arcade driving games that remind a lot of the classic NFS games, check out Test Drive Unlimited 1 & 2. Really fun. Forza Horizon could have been that, but it's full of annoying twat characters that keep ringing and speaking and unbearable effects and "events" and FUCKK OFFFF
Oh, and the cars in yo yo yo gangsta yo yo ba dum dum dum durrudurrurrum get low get low nitro bwooooosshhhhh were ricer garbage japcraps. Need for Speed is European masterrace classics, such as Lamborghini Diablo and McLaren F1, racing on rocky mountains, now yo yo yo gangsta yo yo ba dum dum dum durrudurrurrum get low get low nitro bwooooosshhhhh crap like Toyota or Honda, driving in LA shit streets or in LA dry sewer.

I really enjoyed those titles as well. I purchased Heat during holiday sale and donโt hate it so far. Itโs def not an upgrade to the titles you mentioned but itโs getting closer to capturing what made those titles great.

I played and loved every NSF from Hot Pursuit (I) to Carbon. IMO Then they started trying to make them more realistic and removed cop chases with Pro Street and Undercover and I couldn't play those 2 for longer than an hour and made me think the series are doomed. Perhaps some of the newer like Shift but I can't get into racing games these days. I can't play on race tracks, I like more crowded roads with traffic, cops, obstacles etc and not just driving around curves and only opponent cars. I always found this boring. Can't stand those Asseto Corsa, Prokect CARS or Forza Motorsport that try so hard to be realistic. Only liked the early Colin McRay games, even tho they were on tracks still had good "action" in them. Love me more arcadey racing games with crashing and smashing please.
PS: I should try Forza Horizon 4 someday. Looks like a game I can like. Or Wreckfest.
"Undercover" didn't have cops? What was the "cover" about then?
If you loved Colin McRae games, you owe yourself to try Dirt Rally and Dirt Rally 2.0 (not the other Dirt games, albeit Dirt 4 is not bad). Some of the most intense driving games, especially in VR.
FH3/4 are still infinitely better than these garbage excrements, despite the annoying elements. At least vehicle driving model resembles dricing, not "cars float"
