@freiwald It depends on how ABP is implemented. If it uses the same APIs as uBO, it's in the same boat. If not, then it's not blocking ads, it's just hiding them. So you still download and usually run the JS, bloat in memory, etc, just don't see it. Yes, soe good experiensss, mucho better than faerfox

Is that a DNS solution?
Those are good, but only to a limited point. Often, ads come from known DNS which makes them impossible to catch effectively. Proxies are a step ahead of this, but still, a lot of ads are not static content, so proxies are also unable to cope. There is really no alternative to proper in-browser blocking.

It’s a firewall addon including DNS, element and IP filtering. It can also use same block lists as eg uBlock Origin and much more.

How can it perform element filtering when traffic is encrypted with SSL? Even if you install an SSL inspection module on your router, which would be really stupid if you care about security, how can it filter elements of static HTML pages? Does it modify the page data on the fly? That is the dumbest way of doing things, as anyone who has dealt with HTML shit knows—HTML parsing is one of the most difficult and not well defined tasks on the web today. So I am not impressed, sorry. I will continue to use a proper ad blocking solution, on a proper browser.

Yea reminds me of Pi-hole. It's just no replacement for extension based adblockers.
Especially for sites like twitch and youtube.
Will this affect all chromium based browsers?
Maybe the chromium based Edge browser will do?

Just use Firefox.
Regarding the restrictions in Chromium, it depends how they are implemented. I know that some enterprise features are implemented in such a way that all Chromium derivatives are unable to override.

Could never get into these smash games. Just don't find em fun.
Unless you count: The Outfoxies, played that one a bit. But I still wouldn't say it was great.

iOS is far better. Saying "Apple is just as bad as Google" is pretty retarded, given where each company makes its money and what its priorities are.

If I have to make a guess from that teaser pic, tomorrow's free game might be Talos Principle.

Definitely. There's been a list floating around Reddit for a while now of the upcoming games.
Quoting from a post 4 days ago, which seems to have panned out as predicted (though there will have to be two games free on one of the days:
| Quote: | Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun
Kingdom Come Deliverance
Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair
The Talos Principle
TABS: Totally Accurate Battle Simulator
A Knight's Quest
Cardpocalypse |

Looked it up, it's going to be Hello Neighbor. The link is tied to TinyBuild games, and that lock icon is from the game itself apparently.
