Liked it. Midseason was weak but starting and ending episodes were good. Enjoyable season overall.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

lmao what's with the absolute idiocy and inefficiency of the Stormtroopers and the inability of the characters to hit a huge-ass tie fighter? And what's with the bad guy giving the good guys hours for his ultimatum?

So you think they should've completely ignored the cannon fodder aspect of the original Stormtroopers and turned them into elite special forces soldiers? Stormtroopers are basically the lowest ranked grunts with least skill and protection and the point of them is to have something that looks menacing but that can be dealt with by our "heroes". These grunts are the leftovers from the empire after it's fall 5 years earlier and 25 years before The Force Awakens when the First Order exists.
I always wondered why they need their armor that can't deflect a laser pistol's shot or an ewok spear. Yest we know it's actually Stillsuits from Dune but nevertheless

By the way, why not just buy 5 IG robots and wreck everyone?
Many many great stories (books, movies, tv-series) are full of flawed logic in order to tell the story in a particular way. Why not replace Stormtroopers with IG robots altogether? And give them droidekas shields? That would've made the Empire unstoppable (unless the Rebels did the same).
I tend to filter away/ignore flawed logic when experiencing entertainment. I guess you could call it enhanced suspense of disbelief. It makes me enjoy entertainment more. I've had acquaintances that were extremely analytical who wished they could switch it off since it affected their experiences negatively.

I will keep watching the show because it's fun and short. I just don't take it seriously any more, it is like a fun stupid thing to watch, like an action comedy or something. With lots of fan service.
I used to hope this would/could be a gritty Star Wars spin-off with violent badassery.

started to grow on me, but that forest planet episode with them fishermen village... was absolute horseshit, prison ship one was bland, same scenery far to long. tie fighter made me wanna play tie fighter game again
