Just almost watched ep 4, well, I stopped it near the end and this is the end of the road for me when it comes to this series, good luck to you fellows! What finally broke me was that Queen thundercunt that could not stop talking about how shit men are
And what was that whole shebang at the wedding? This is the stuff that shows do when they have jumped the shark and are desperate ... this is way too early to go full retard.

you jumped the shark with your opinions.
If it jumped the shark then... People would not hate watch the rest. People would despise the show. Call it shit. Instead people love it.

So... Your opinion jumped the shark.
But... it IS an opinion, not objective fact.
I have the season on HD but I haven't started watching yet.
Jumping the shark is an objective fact though. It's a legitimate term. Sometimes quite literal.
Not an opinion. It means that in the span of 4 episodes the show became irrelevant, and tried to gain relevance again by doing something stupid to bring back an audience. It never lost an audience. Audience is thirsty for more. No jumping the shark moment yet.
His opinion was already made up by inclusion of stronk wamen written by feminists and social justice warriors.
Dunno if you noticed... Lot of lads here hate forced feminism, and forced tokenism, and forced diversity pushing an ideology on the viewer... Lotta lads on the internets too out there hate that stuff too. Very little complaints from sane people about the stronk wamen hating on men. Apart from those looking for a reason to hate it and be cool and to not drink the Kool aid of feminism.
So he's just validating his statement of disgust because stronk Thunder cunt hates men. I wonder why...
Just say it's shit. Its a valid opinion.
Ain't yo thing... It's a valid opinion.
Jumping the shark... Prove it.
well there has been lot of "stronk wamen" in withcer world and stories since its inception back 1986 .... and Sapkowski is quite far from what you can call feminsit and SJW .... he is quite an asshole
SJW's are per definition assholes. It's self-righteous and privileged people who thinks its very important to come off as progressive and as feminists, in reality nothing could be further from the truth.. you can bet your ass he has absolutely zero colored or gay friends, like most SJW's.
It's because they are assholes, racists and just generally scummy people that they need the SJW narrative to surround them like a shield, to throw off any suspicion (or to shield themselves from stuff they've said/done in the past that would not look good if it got out.)
I just started reading the books and only a few pages into the Striga story and now I don't like how they changed Foltest in the series. TW2 Foltest actually comes closer.
"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."
Yep, Foltest is a pretty cool character (in the sense that he's, like all characters, morally grey and not the borderline caricature the show made him appear). Same for Calanthe, btw.

Yeah, in the show he is a fat pig with an interest in incest like Emhyr (but Emhyr never actually got to it). If he would at least say it was the reason of the state.
In W2 he looks like a strong leader and a mean dude who is liked by his underlings. I also got those vibes in the books.
So, again, the biggest flaw of the show is the writing.

So what you're saying is the commentator who hates that there are stronk wamen in the show never really read the source material and just hates the show based on their own personal beliefs that the wamen who wrote the show ruined it by including stronk wamen who hate men....
Hmmmmmmmmmmnmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
I called it out while watching Knives out. Didn't have to call it out during WItcher cause it felt natural and not forced. Hmmmm.

Can we get a fact-check in this?
FRANT, can you objectively watch the first 4 episodes and tell us your opinion on whether Calanthe is a thundercunt and whether forced feminism brings down the story/dialogue?
Or get an opinion in this thread where you're pretty much the only one hating on this.
Yeah she's a cunt.
She berates the WItcher.
Hates men. Is better than them cause she's queen.
Like... If it makes sense for the character... It's not forced feminism. Or do you think women in power are all dowdy and adorable and cute and Teehee like an incel virgin would? Caaaaaaaause I don't wanna insult you... But you do sound like it.
She arrogant.
She's hateful.
She's full of herself.
She's disgusting.
Also a whore.
She's a queen.
Had to go through a lot to prove herself a worthy queen.
Had to survive.
Had to protect her Kingdom.
Not really all positive in terms of feminism writing this show. Yknow. But hey focus on a few lines. Lol. Cause thats what makes the character... Not the character portrayal at all. Not the actions of the character. Just a fe lines. Yknow.... Just a snippet from a whole chapter.
You know if a sentence in any book starts with it they're not talking about the clown from Stephen King books. Riiiight?
I was wrong, I admit it.
After six episodes I have to say that some good acting and characters such as Geralt and stunning Yennefer made the first season tolerable at least.
ps.but whole Brokilon's setting/plot was laughable - it felt like some 90's mad max movie.

Obviously my reaction would be subjective as well. I was actually, kind of, defending your position.
Just a small reminder how good the music was in the game, compared to the tv show (granted, it had one catchy tune). The subtle lyrics in Priscilla's Song are in big contrast with the simple, childish lyrics of some of the show's songs.
Apart from The Wolven Storm, first of all, there was Percival & Marcin Przybyłowicz. Here is a live clip of Percival Shuttenbach (full name) from some local hoedown
Live because i believe a live version is a better measurement than a studio version.
Singing starts at about 0:48 and music at about 1:50. Those are the songs from TW3. The best one here IMO is "Steel for Humans" at 4:48. Here the song is called "Lazare". From what i read it's basically a bulgarian spring mating (in short) song There is a similar thing celebrated in Poland.
