Trying to play smash 4 on cemu and I can't get past the SD card prompt. Hard to find a solution to it, best I found so far is to crate an SD folder and place it somewhere.
Anyone know how to solve this?
A suggestion I found was to update the game and install all dlc. Have that downloaded and will try when I get home.
So yeah, I was not pressing the correct button, there for a loop. But the error messages still comes up every time. Any way to make it go away for good.

Have you tried fiddling with the controller settings in cemu? Fresh load with docked/undocked controller, or rebinding things etc.
Thanks for sharing this, I have a growing interest in the subject of old-ish hardware atm (I must be growing old) and this was very informative
Quite technical, thankfully I've read about the SNES architecture recently, but it's worth the brainpower investment

You're most welcome! I have no problem admitting it was *way* over my head in terms of technicalities, kinda like how I feel when I watch Modern Vintage Gamer's videos , but it was definitely an interesting and enlightening read -- as most byuu articles are.
For anyone that doesn't know, MVG is a homebrew dev/hacker/porter, and has ported and released dozens of emulators and homebrew applications for many systems. He's responsible for the Diablo Switch port, as well as most of the classic Xbox OG emulators, and routinely puts out new videos with crazy indepth detail and explanations of various forms of DRM or computing technical details
Yeah, byuu's article was tough, had to refer to the technical specs all the time and I still understood only like half of it
Man, I watch MVG videos all the time ! He makes it accessible enough, and DRM-circumventing is a subject dear to my pirate heart - it's easier with the pictures on the utubz too
However, whilst this might be a boon for AMD users (since AMD infamously has diabolically bad OpenGL performance) it's still highly experimental and not really worth using day-to-day due to one major deficit; no, current!, support for shader caches.. which means constant shader compilation stalls *all the time*
Just played VIRTUA COP 3's Arcade ROM on... CXBX (Latest build).. Runs wonders most of the time except when ya activatre the ES MODE (Slow-Mo), wich makes the screen go black for a sec then show it again with the slomo effect on (if still pressed)
Nostalgia !!

I don't think PS4 is relevent when it comes to ISOS yet, maybe did u mean PS3? I am not updated on current PS4 emulation progress, but at MOST it can only run hombrew and maybe in-game status some commercial stuffs.
Speaking on which, RPCS3 surpassed the 54% "Playable" status, they are progressing rather quite fast, and I hope when they will reach around 70-90% they will focus more on imporving the Playability of the games.
