I played it ... didn't think it was that great. I can see why it was back then because in the 80's, "die and try again" gameplay was the standard but that's been a loooong time ago and it's considered bad design these days because developers used it back in the day to pad out the game. Wasteland is brutal and requires a lot of effort to know where you shouldn't go, what you shouldn't do. The cover art is amazing though - really sets the mood for the game.
I doubt the remake can fix the outdated mechanics though but we'll find out I guess.

I dont want anything fixed apart from the graphics really. I played the c64 version some days ago again and it still rocks.
shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.

I played it almost 10 years ago and I enjoyed it even with the 1980's look.

Yeah, I'm currently downloading it and will check it out when it's active. Since I paid the enormous amount of €1 for a 3-month sub to Gamepass (Xbox PC beta) I might as well check out as many games I can before the sub is cancelled.

Won't let me install on m$ store... or rather it won't install the necessary "gaming service"...
and of course right after this post I fixed it by resetting the store cache
(run ->wsreset.exe).
