Install CureROM_130b
1) Create a new CureROM Profille --> NEXT
2) Application: *:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Empire at War\GameData\sweaw.exe
Application Arguments: Star Wars Empire at War
CureROM Anti-blacklisting enable --> NEXT
3) Image Mounting Software: Use "DAEMON TOOL" to mount...
Backup Image: Browse and load image
Leave the rest as default (Drive 1, 3 seconds, all emulation options) --> NEXT
4) Shortcut Name: Type what you want
Shortcut Location: Create shortcut on desktop
5) NEXT
6) Save or NEXT..dont remember
Be sure to leave the image where it is, cause CureROM saved is location in the settings and start the game ONLY with the shortcut CureROM created on your desktop
Using this with the DVD image mounted with Dtool 3.47 and everything works fine
*Numbers represent the page your are on |
I did exactly the same, but it doesnt work. Still gets detected...

Tried DVD version (with the newest patch) with CureRom 1.3b, CureRom v1.2.2, and SR7.stop 1.2. Nothing works.

Be aware, if your using 64bit windows + 64bit daemon; none of the popular hiding software works as they're all written for 32bit.

Maybe Deviance or one of the other groups will crack it, should be soon, just hang in there.

michaeldks wrote: | Same here. Doesnt work, tried with deamon tools and alcohol, in conjunction with CureRom, SR7stop. Followed the instructions above to the letter. And I've tried with both the cd version and the dvd version.
So I guess I'll have to wait for a crack too |
Works fine with the successor to SR7 stop "Pr0t St0p"

I got it to work with the .IMG DVD file, use Daemon tools to mount and load the image, make sure all options are turned to ON,after the game install, then run CureRom to *:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Empire at War\GameData\sweaw.exe.
Make sure in settings of CureRom that you have Daemon tools not greyed out must be ON
Worked for me after that, DO NOT try to open the actual game icon!!! it will give you errors like above!!

Yep that does it. Not the launcher but the gamestart exe and curerom 1.3b does the job even after updating.
