toca2 was cracked
toca3 is in stores here since this morning
toca3 ps2 version has been released few hours ago

yeh, i think it will be cracked fairly quickly this time, as Cartoon said they know how to deal with SF more and should have it out pretty soon.

got it for the PS2... race games are way better to play on your TV... but yeah... the graphics suck...

Notice camera focus and other effects used on them. They aren't used in-game..at least they weren't used in the demo Which looked like crap, btw... |
The PC version got those graphics... you only need the right pc and the right video card... but the PS2 cant make that  |

I love the Toca series, I have both one and two and I still play them. Can't wait for this one. I got my x1900XTX just in time.

i thought about getting the ps2 version but the gfx are so.....bad. btw where are you at? It says Feb.21 for the U.S. release date.
Ah well I think ill give it a day before I just go ahead and grab the ps2 version, it still has all the cool damage right?

i doubt it, they still havent cracked scct. Anyway ima getting the ps2 version, not waiting for the pc one.

So this is another one of those where you gotta rip apart your computer to play it...hmm. Im ok with using Anti-blaxx but unplugging all my drives is too much. I guess its cool thats its out tho, i just hope an easier way around the protection soon arrives.

Don't know how GT4 is, but ToCA is a wannabe sim, a strange mix of arcade and sim. Graphics are not as good as in GT Legends, which I found to be one of the best, if not the best, racing sim made last year. Driving is to arcadish to call it a sim, although it has features like damage, cockpit view and suport for 5 axes wheels.
So, anyone played this yet? I found the demos to be way to easy to drive with a wheel, it was way way to easy to win. Braking - ha, you could push the brakes all the way at 300 kmph and not block the wheels, and you'd stop the car in like 100 m...I don't know if that's what I'm looking for. Baja race was fun though.
