There are a ton of automatic pic resizers on the playstore. Use them. Though I'd welcome something like that for gmail too => NFOrce GIF plugin <= - Ryzen 3800X, 16GB DDR4-3200, Sapphire 5700XT Pulse

anyone with a job that involved emails, knows that mail servers reject big emails as big emails waste space and space costs monies , its a ridicoulous oversight for phone apps to not have compression built in in the year 2020 ... and just another way to make people upgrade to bigger phones cause they run out of space
