Dont want to be the devil advocate, be aware that when a mod will come, he will probably delete everyting since its not game related and all this belong in the PC technical forum...i think you should all move there for the best intrest of your needs

OK i got it working now on windows xp pro 64bit.
It finally worked when I applied Securom_loader to the game .
Now I have daemon tools to run the image
curerom for blacklist
and securom_loader applied to the game on my hd. And it works.
Also I had disabled my dvd player in hardware manager... but dont know if that matters.

so I've been messing around a bit with the game and I wonder if you can do the galactic quest thingie (as in conquering planets and stuff) in multiplayer ? Didn't see that option in skirmish.

guys, i figured it out with the CD version.. I got it to work with curerom and deomon tools 4.3 The reason it wasnt working was that i had the burned copy of disk 1 in my Drive (since I tried it with Blind write). Once I ejected the disk I tried it again with Curerom and it worked perfectly.

okay, i've sucessfully managed to run game. tested on 3 of my machines (Intel P4 D xp, Intel P4 C xp, Athlon x64 + Win2003 x64)
there's few conditions to sucessfully run this game.
1. Make sure : set DENY permission in dtscsi registry (something like folder). (or you can get "original blah auth blah blah" error)
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\Scsi\Scsi Port (1/2/3/4/5/6/... which contains value "dtscsi") -> Permission (Administrator => Set Deny)
2. Make sure : set ALLOW permission in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\MountedDevices
So you are able to see it's own containments(keys). check the permission and Advanced button. or you'll get "security module blah" error
3. You can use CureRom for run, but you can use "Securom Loader" too. (AntiSecurom.exe and dll)
This works on x64 windows and cpu
4. Image is mounted and all emulation options are on
5. Run sweaw.exe in GameData folder
6. I'm used DT 4.03HE for mount
7. all of my actual CD/DVD drives are off (in hardware manager / unplugged)
(or you'll get "original ..blah.. auth ..blah.." error)
hope this helps. (i'm a korean and my english sucks please forgive me)

How the hell do you expect to be able to burn a DVD to a CD?

Just burn the .MDF file to the DVD , Then mount it with D-Tools/A120?

it works, but I'm getting alot of glitches....probably something to do with 95 compatability mode =(
Most seem like sound glitches but who knows
